NHTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

NHTET or National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test is a recruitment exam conducted to hire experienced and trained individuals for the post of Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associates at reputed institutions affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Candidates who are appearing for the NHTET examination need to satisfy the eligibility criteria of NHTET. The eligibility criteria of NHTET is provided on this page. NHTET Eligibility Criteria 2022

Check the eligibility criteria of NHTET 2022 provided below. 

• Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration or Hotel Management after 10+2 from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks with at least 2 years Hospitality Industry Experience after obtaining Degree (6 months IT is part of Courses, not to be considered as experience for this purpose). OR
• Full time Master’s Degree in Hospitality Administration or Hotel Management with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University after full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks. 
• Candidates having a full time Bachelor Degree in Hospitality/ Hotel Administration/ Management with at least 55% or more marks in aggregate and thereafter appearing in the final semester (i.e. in 4th Semester)/ final year exam of the master’s degree and have passed all subjects of previous year/ semester, can also apply. It should be noted that the candidates who are in the 2nd year (3rd Semester) of their Master’s Degree in Hospitality are not eligible to apply.
• Age should not be more than 35 years. Relaxation of age by 5 years for those belonging to SC/ ST/ PD categories, 3 years for those belonging to OBC categories is applicable as per rules.
