“How to Apply for NTSE 2019” is one question that arises in every aspirants’ mind. NTSE is a national-level examination conducted to identify young talent from around the world with Indian nationality. The exam is conducted in two stages. The first stage of NTSE has already been conducted by the respective state and union territories in November 2018. The second stage will be conducted by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) on 12th May 2019.
In order to apply for the first stage of NTSE, candidates need to look for advertisements or circulars in their respective schools. For the second stage of NTSE, candidates don’t need to apply or fill/send application form to NCERT. The candidates who qualify in stage 1 of the examination are given the opportunity to sit for the second stage of NTSE.

Candidates need to follow the instructions carefully and make sure that they have all the required documents with them before they start filling the application form of NTSE 2019. Look for the link ‘Apply for NTSE 2019’.
Click on the link.
Fill in the following credentials:
Date of Birth
Email ID, etc.
After successfully filling in the details, click on ‘Submit’.
Look for the link to download NTSE Application Form.
Download the application form.
Candidates can also get the application form offline from the Liaison Officer of their State/Union Territory.
The application form of NTSE is filled offline.
Fill in the following details in the application form:
Name of the candidate according to Birth Certificate
Date of Birth
Name of School
Type of School (Govt./Private)
Area of School (Rural/Urban)
The medium of the Examination
Number of Family Members
Number of Siblings
Affix a passport sized photograph that should be:
No older than 6 months from the date of form filling
Should have a dark background
Must be clicked in school uniform
Hair should be properly tied
No make-up should be worn at the time of getting the photograph clicked
Sign the form in the provided space.
Get the NTSE 2019 Application Form attested by the Head of the School.
Attach required documents to the form.
After successfully filling the application form, submit it to the Liaison Office of your State/Union Territory via post or personal visit to the concerned office.
For the first stage of NTSE, each state has its own rules with respect to the charging of the application fee.
For the second stage of NTSE, there is no fee charged as no additional application form needs to be filled.
The posting address of the Liaison Officer of each centre can be found on the official portal of NTSE.
The last date of submitting the application form varies from state to state, so students need to stay in contact with the Liaison Officers.
Candidates must provide a valid postal address as all the important documents will be posted to that address only.
Before posting the application form to the Liaison Officer, candidates must make sure that the form has been filled properly with correct details on it.
