WB JEHOM Counselling Process

The WB JEHOM 2021  counselling process will begin after a few days of result declaration at the Office of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, AQ-13/1, Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 091. Only the candidates who will qualify the WB JEHOM 2021 entrance exam will be allowed to sit in the counselling process of WB JEHOM 2021. The counselling process is the final round in which candidates need to appear to get admissions. The final seat to any of the institute including Siliguri Institute of Technology, Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management and NSHM School of Hotel Management will be allocated on the basis of WB JEHOM 2021 counselling process. 

Candidates must note that if they fail to qualify the required criteria, their candidature will be cancelled at that time. Apart from this, candidates also need to carry the documents along with them while appearing for the counselling round, missing of any documents may lead to decreasing the chances of seat allocation. Candidates may check the seats available for each college as mentioned below and then they may proceed to take admission in the desired college. Candidates also need to submit an amount of INR 500/- as counselling process before appearing for the of counselling round.

Detailed Counselling Procedure of WB JEHOM 2021

Step 1: Registration

Candidates going for the counselling process need to register for the WB JEHOM 2021 exam before filling the application form. The registration can be done by the form available online before the last date.

Step 2: Choosing college options

Students have the advantage to choose their interested college and course and may then apply for that particular college. Before applying for the college, students must check the eligibility and cutoff list declared by the college. Once the students satisfy the required percentage, they may then proceed to WB JEHOM 2021 counselling process.

Step 3: Document Verification

Once the candidates have filled the application form, they will be called to the office for further steps of the counselling process and document verification. Some of the documents which need to be carried with students are mentioned below:

• Counselling Application form (downloaded) duly filled-in and signed in specified

• Original Admit Card of WB JEHOM-2021.

• Places after affixing recent passport size photograph in the specified place.

• Bank Draft or cash of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable)

• Downloaded result Sheet (The page which contains candidate’s name and rank)

• Original mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) level or equivalent examination

• Original mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination

• Medical certificate

• Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates)

Step 4: Fees Payment

Candidates will have to pay an amount of INR 500/- as counselling fee. The candidate may download the fee receipt as a proof of fee payment. Once all the steps are completed successfully, the applicant will be selected for admission in the desired college.

• Students have to take the original documents while going for document verification round.

• Photocopies of the documents are required for submission.

• Candidates are advised to check the details carefully. 

• Seats to any of the available college will be filled according to merit, availability of seats and documents.

• If candidates found ineligible at any stage of counselling then their candidature will be cancelled.
