XIC OET 2024 Counselling Process

XIC OET Counselling Process 2024: XIC OET counseling dates will be released soon. Only those candidates who have qualified according to the XIC OET 2024 final results become eligible to appear for the XIC OET 2024 counseling round. To claim their admissions on time, candidates must attend the XIC OET counseling 2024 schedule. After the final results are announced, XIC OET 2024 counseling will begin as the final stage of admissions. Candidates who do not live in the same city must submit their documents on the first day of college.

Aspirants who will successfully clear the test and second round of GD & PI will be called up for admission to the programs offered. The Xavier Institute of Communications will likely conduct examinations for Journalism & Mass Communication, Public Relations & Corporate Communications, Advertising & Marketing Communication, and Film, Television & Digital Video Production on April 5, 6 & 7, 2024. The application process for XIC OET 2024 commenced on March 1, 2024, and will continue until March 31, 2024. Personal Interviews are scheduled to take place at various centers, starting on April 19, 20, and 21, 2024, in Delhi; April 23, 2024, in Kolkata; April 24, 2024, in Bangalore; and April 26, 27, and 28, 2024, in Mumbai. The final merit list is anticipated to be released on May 3, 2024. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to pay fees until May 15, 2024, by 4 pm. 

The Counselling process (Selection procedure) is the last level of the admission process. The process will be based on the Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Candidates who qualify for the Skype Video interview will be informed about it at the end of the test. Candidates will have to wait for some time after the test to attend the Skype interview. The aspirant will be sent to further group discussion or interview based on the course a candidate wants to seek.

After the announcement of XIC OET results and merit list, aspirants will be asked to complete the admission formalities by visiting the Institute like seat booking, fee payment, documents verification, etc. Aspirants who are in the final year of graduation and selected for the course will be awarded a diploma only after completion of the graduation and submission of the final year mark sheet.

XIC OET 2024 Group Discussion/Personal Interview Round

Candidates who will qualify for the XIC OET 2024 are required to appear for the second round i.e. Group discussion and Personal Interview via Skype.

Document Required for XIC OET Counselling Process 2024

Following are the required documents for the XIC OET counselling process.

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Migration certificate, Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Graduation certificate of the qualifying exam
• XIC OET 2024 Admit Card
• Class 10 certificate for verification of age
• Self-attested photocopies of all documents
• In case the result is awaited, evidence of appearing in the qualifying exam.
• Five latest passport size photographs

XIC OET Counseling Procedure

• The XIC OET 2024 scorecard will be available only for one academic year.

• Students can download their XIC OET scorecard 2024 online from the official website of XIC. 

• The counseling procedure will be based on the student's performance in GD & personal interviews.

• XIC OET Counselling Process 2024 will be conducted according to the candidates’ scorecard list, and the scorecard will be prepared based on the entrance test result, So students need to qualify for the XIC OET entrance test with significantly high scores.

What Happens In GD and PI?

• Students must clear this round for admission to XIC University.

• In the group discussion round, students must give their best performance to increase their chances of getting shortlisted.

• It will be an activity round for students to check their capability.

• In one group 5 to 6 students will be included to evaluate their team spirit.

• Students will receive marks out of five scales.

• Apart from the one-to-one personal interaction session, the PI round may also include some other components including Group Exercise, Writing Test, Extempore speech, and psychometric tests among others.

• Personal Interviews will check your smartness, knowledge, personality, etc.

• At the GD time, candidates get an on-the-spot topic and the candidate needs to discuss the topic.

XIC OET Cut Off 2024

Candidates have to score the minimum cutoff marks in the XIC OET exam to take part in the counselling process. Cut-off marks are determined after taking the following factors into account:

• The number of candidates who appeared in the exam

• Number of seats for allotment

• Reservation Norms

• Previous year Admission trend

• Last year cut off

• The difficulty level of the exam
