ACET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) has specified eligibility criteria for ACET 2020. Since ACET is conducted thrice a year, aspirants can appear for any session. Candidates who have a sound Mathematics background can shine well in the ACET exam. If you are aspiring a solid career as an Actuary must note that a good knowledge in Mathematics will lead to success in ACET exam. Education Qualification Required for ACET 2020

The education qualification required for ACET 2020 is as follows -

  • The candidates must have passed Class 12th in any stream with English as one of the subjects.
  • Candidates who have attained higher education qualification can also appear for ACET 2020.
  • Working professionals with a minimum of 12th qualification are also eligible to register for ACET exam.
  • Degree holders in Mathematics and Statistics can also appear for ACET exam.
  • Engineering professionals can also register for ACET.

Exemptions from ACET

The aspirants must note that there is no exemption from ACET exam 2020. However, there is an exemption for Core Technical, Core Application and Specialist Technical Subjects for the following candidates -

  • Professional Qualifications
  • Graduates of Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata
  • Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Institute of Faculty of Actuaries
  • University Courses and IFoA Exemptions
