Applicants of AP LPCET 2020 will have to check the APLPCET 2020 eligibility criteria before they register themselves for the APLPCET 2020. The candidates applying for AP LPCET 2020 must know that there are different eligibility criteria for all candidates in AP LPCET. Before applying for AP LPCET 2020 candidates must find out the eligibility criteria and satisfy the eligibility criteria of AP LPCET 2020.
The Applicant must be an Indian.
The candidate must satisfy the local and Non-Local candidature requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institute [as per Order 1974, as amended for admission into ‘A’ Category which means seats in Un-Aided Pandit Training Colleges and for seats in Universities which are Government or aided by the government.
The applicants must have completed 19 years of age by 1st July 2020 but there is no upper limit as such.
For Telegu Pandit - The candidates must have a bachelors degree in Telegu Oriental Language or Telegu. A graduate with Telegu as an optional subject or an MA degree in Telegu
For Hindi Pandit - A grade degree with optional subject as Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or BA degree in Oriental Language Hindi or Vidwan of Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad or some other equivalent recognised qualification in Hindi.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have qualified the last attempted examination by 2020 would be eligible to appear for the examination. The qualifying marks in the examination must be 35% of the aggregate marks.
15% of the seats are for the unreserved category and 85% seats reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh.
