Students who wish to teach Primary or Upper Primary Classes in government, private, and aided schools across Andhra Pradesh must appear for this state-level entrance test. Students must submit their personal and academic details through the AP TET registration form 2026. How to Fill APTET Application Form 2026?

The candidates can follow the simple steps mentioned below to fill out the online application form for APTET 2026.

APTET Application Fee Payment: The first step in the registration process of APTET is online application fee payment. The steps to pay the application fee for APTET are as follows:

• Click on the direct link mentioned above or visit the official website of APSET.
• The candidates can also visit the nearest AP Online or Mee Seva Centre to pay the application fee. Candidates visiting any of these centres should carry the respective application fee.
• Candidates who wish to pay the APTET fee in online mode should click on the option that indicates Online Payment on the official website.
• Enter the basic details such as Candidate Name, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Paper Preference.
• Click on ‘Submit’
• Enter the details of your Credit or Debit Card to pay the application fee.
• You will receive an SMS on your mobile device with your Journal Number once the APTET application fee has been successfully paid. Additionally, you can print off the receipt for the fee payment, which will include the journal number.
• Candidates who pay fees through AP Online or Mee Seva Centre will receive the fee payment receipt which will have the Journal Number.

Uploading Photograph and Signature:

• After the successful fee payment, the candidates can click on the option that indicates ‘Submit Application’ on the official website.
• Enter the Journal Number and Date of Birth to proceed with the uploading of the photograph and signature.
• Once you sign in, you can upload the scanned copy of the Photograph and Signature.
• The candidates should only upload a colour photograph of passport size.
• The candidates should sign on a white paper with a Black Ball Point Pen, scan the same and upload it.
• After selecting the scanned copies of the Photograph and Signature, click on ‘Upload’.
• Now, your photograph and signature are directly uploaded on APTET application form.

APTET Form Fill-Up

• After the successful upload of the Photograph and Signature, you will see the application form on the screen.
• Fill in all the details in the respective columns carefully. The candidates must note that the details in the application form can’t be edited once submitted.
• Aadhaar Number is mandatory to fill out the application form of APTET. If the candidates do not have an Aadhaar card, he/ she can enter the Aadhaar Enrollment Number or another other ID number issued by the Government.
• After filling in all the details in the APTET application form, click on ‘Preview’
• Whatever details that you have entered in the application form will be displayed on the screen.
• If all the details entered by you are correct, click on ‘Submit’. If you want to make changes before the final submission, click on ‘Edit’.
• After submitting the application form, you can take the printout of the same.
• The printout of the application form will have a Reference ID which can be used to select the exam centre, book the slot for the exam, download the hall ticket and check the result.
• The candidates are advised to preserve the printout of the application form for future reference.

APTET 2026 Application Fee

The application fee for APTET 2026 will bethe same for all categories for each paper; paper I and paper II.  The candidates will be able to submit the APTET 2026 Application Form after successfully paying the APTET 2026 Application Fee. How to Do AP TET 2026 Application Form Correction?

The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, provides a correction window for candidates who wish to make changes to their submitted AP TET 2026 application form. The official dates for the correction facility will be announced along with the 2026 notification. Candidates can follow the steps below to make corrections in their application form:

Step 1: Visit the official website of AP TET at aptet.apcfss.in
Step 2: Click on the AP TET 2026 Application Form Correction link on the homepage
Step 3: Log in using your Registration ID and password
Step 4: Make the necessary corrections in the required fields
Step 5: Review all the changes carefully before final submission
Step 6: Click on Submit to save the corrections
Step 7: Download and take a printout of the corrected application form for future reference

Note: Candidates are advised to make corrections carefully within the stipulated correction window, as changes may not be permitted after the window closes. The application fee once submitted is non-refundable under any circumstances.

How to Retrieve AP TET 2026 Application Number and Password?

In case a candidate forgets their AP TET 2026 application number or password, they can retrieve it by following the steps given below on the official website aptet.apcfss.in:

To Retrieve Application Number:

• Step 1: Visit the official website at aptet.apcfss.in
• Step 2: Click on the 'Forgot Registration ID' link on the login page
• Step 3: Enter your registered mobile number and date of birth
• Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
• Step 5: Enter the OTP to retrieve your Registration ID

To Retrieve Password:

• Step 1: Visit the official website at aptet.apcfss.in
• Step 2: Click on the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page
• Step 3: Enter your Registration ID and registered mobile number
• Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
• Step 5: Enter the OTP and set a new password

AP TET 2026 Application Form: Important Instructions

Candidates must carefully read the following important instructions before filling out the AP TET 2026 application form to avoid any errors or rejection:

• The AP TET 2026 application form will be available in online mode only at aptet.apcfss.in. Applications through any other mode will not be accepted.
• Candidates must ensure they meet all the AP TET 2026 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.
• A copy of the filled-in application form and e-challan must be kept as a reference for future use.
• Candidates must provide their own active email ID and mobile number while filling out the application form, as all communications will be sent to these contact details.
• The application fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to carefully review their eligibility and other details before making the payment.
• Candidates applying for both Paper I and Paper II must pay the application fee separately for each paper.
• After successful submission, a Reference ID number will be allotted to each candidate, which must be saved and used for future reference including admit card download, exam centre selection, and result checking.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are eligible for a reduced application fee as per government norms.
• Candidates can visit the nearest AP Online or Mee Seva Centre to pay the application fee in offline mode if unable to pay online.
• Do not wait until the last date to submit the application form to avoid server issues or technical difficulties.
