AUCET Counselling Process 2020 (Check New Schedule)

The AUCET 2020 counselling process has started from 27th October 2020 onwards. The AUCET 2020 counselling is being conducted in multiple phases which can be accessed by the candidates by logging in to the official AUCET website. The counselling process for AUCET 2020 will be based on the candidates’ performance in the AUCET 2020 entrance test and the rank secured by them in the same. To participate in the AUCET 2020 counselling process though, the candidates have to be present at the helpline centres along with all the certificates and registration fee. 

The AUCET counselling process for the year 2020, like the previous years, will be organised by Andhra University. The AUCET 2020 counselling schedule is expected to be released shortly and the same can be viewed by the candidates from the official website of AUCET. 

The students must keep one thing in mind that the admission which will be offered to the students after the conclusion of the AUCET counselling rounds 2020 will be provisional in nature which will be subject to cancellation and the right for the same will lie in the hands of officials of Andhra University. However, the counselling fee of AUCET 2020 will be refunded back to the candidates under some terms and conditions. AUCET 2020 Counselling Process: Detailed Procedure

The detailed procedure for the AUCET 2020 counselling process will be released along with the notification for AUCET 2020 entrance exam most probably in the month of March. The AUCET 2020 detailed counselling procedure, as soon as it is released on the official website, shall be updated here. Till then the AUCET 2020 aspirants should go through the counselling pattern for AUCET that was followed last year. The AUCET counselling process is expected to remain the same and not much of a change is expected where the steps which the candidates would be required to follow goes as follows:

  1. Download the rank card for AUCET 2020 from the official website after it is released

  2. Conduct of Certificate Verification process (for all the candidates who appear in the AUCET 2020 rank card along with special category students)

  3. Choose options during the Web Options process

  4. Wait for the notification regarding the first phase of seat allotment process 

  5. The first phase of the AUCET 2020 seat allotment process begins

  6. Allocated seat course fee payment 

  7. Wait for the display of vacant seats after the first phase of AUCET 2020 seat allotment process is carried out

  8. Follow steps 5 & 6 again

The amount that the candidates have to pay as AUCET 2020 counselling/certificate verification fee, which will vary according to the category of the candidates is given in the table below:

What Documents Should I Carry to the AUCET 2020 Counselling Venue?

The candidates after successfully registering for the AUCET 2020 counselling and certificate verification process must not forget to carry the following documents to the AUCET 2020 counselling venues:

  • AUCET 2020 admit card/hall ticket

  • AUCET 2020 rank card

  • Class XIIth original certificates

  • Conduct and Transfer certificate from the Institution which was the last studying destination of the candidates

  • Qualifying examination statement of marks

  • Class Xth certificate (original as a proof of Date of Birth)

  • Study certificate(degree Inter or class Xth)

  • Caste certificate (for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC and other minority groups)

  • Latest valid income certificate (only accepted if issued by a competent authority like Tehsildar or M.R.O)

  • Recent passport size photographs (4 Nos)

  • Original certificates (for candidates applying for admission under the Sports/NCC/PwD/CAP quota)

  • Certificate of physical fitness (issued by an Assistant Civil Surgeon)

  • Self-attested copies of all the certificates mentioned above

Is There any Provision of Cancelling the Allocated Seats?

The candidates can opt to not take admission into the seat allocated to them. There are, however, some terms and conditions set by the conducting body for the cancellation of the seats allocated to the candidates. The conditions are as follows:

  • If a candidate opts for the seat cancellation procedure before the first phase of the seat allotment process concludes, then he/she will be refunded 90% of the paid course fee

  • If a candidate opts for the seat cancellation procedure before the second phase of the seat allotment process concludes, then he/she will be refunded 80% of the paid course fee

  • No refund will be given to those candidates who choose to cancel their allocated seats after the second counselling phase

Dear student, Andhra University is yet to notify the dates regarding the 3rd round of the AUCET 2020 counselling process on its official website. Andhra University usually conducts the 3rd phase/round of the AUCET counselling process every year and is expected to do the same this year too. Dear student, first of all, many congratulations on clearing the AUCET 2020 exam and that too with such a good rank. Secondly, yes you are eligible to participate in the AUCET counselling process even though your final year qualifying degree exam results not declared. However, you will be given provisional admission first based on your AUCET rank and your admission will be confirmed after you submit your final year UG degree certificate.
