CA CPT 2021 application form will be released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in online mode on its official website. In order to fill the ICAI CA CPT 2021 application form, candidates will have to register themselves for the exam before the last date of submitting the application form. The candidates are suggested to go through the eligibility details of the exam carefully before filling up the online application form.

While filling the CA CPT 2021 application form, candidates must fill in their correct details and make the payment of the required application fee through online mode. For completing the application process, candidates will have to make the online fee payments through Debit Card or Credit Card. Candidates must note that the application fees of CA CPT vary according to the location of the exam centres chosen by the candidates. The application fee of CA CPT is INR 1000/- for centres in India, for exam centres in Kathmandu (Nepal) it is INR 1700 and for exam centres in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, and Muscat, the application fee is $300.

Steps Involved in CA CPT 2021 Application Process

Step 1: Registration

• Log in to register for CA CPT (November session) by clicking on the ‘New User Registration Here’ tab and enter details like Date of Birth, Student Details, Examination, Registration number, etc.

• User ID/Username and Password will be created for future purposes.

Step 2: Filling the Details

After successful registration, fill the examination and exam center details in the application form.

Step 3: Preview of Application Form

• After filling the details in the application form, preview the application of CA CPT.

• To make any corrections, click on 'Back to Form,' make relevant corrections, and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

The application fee of CA CPT 2019 can be paid only in online mode using Master/Visa Debit Card/ Credit Card.

Step 5: Print-out of the Application Form

The last step to complete the application process of CA CPT 2021 is to download the application form in PDF format by clicking on 'Download PDF' and take a print-out of duly filled application form for future reference.

Only when the candidates register themselves by going to the official website of CPT can they fill up their application forms. Here are the few steps which the candidates should go through  for registration:

• This is the first step to apply online for CA CPT
• The candidates will find a link for the creation of an account on the official website
• They are advised to create their profile
• To register online the candidates will have to give credentials like CPT Registration Number, date of birth, email id and date of birth.
• After the submission of the required information for registration, the login credentials are sent to the registered email.

NOTE: The candidates should know that they have successfully logged in when they receive the login credentials.

What are the Prerequisite Details for Filling CA CP 2021 Application Form?

For filling the CA CPT 2021 application form, candidates must have the following details ready beforehand:

While filling all the necessary details in the application form of CA CPT, i.e. their name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, nationality, age, contact details, qualification details etc, it is important for the candidates to enter the correct details and verify their details before submitting the application form. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will release two application correction windows for those candidates who wish to rectify or correct any mistakes that they may have made while filling the application form. The first ICAI CA CPT application window will be free of cost whereas the second application window will charge an additional amount according to the changes made by the candidates.

Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official website to open the CA CPT application correction window.

Step 2: Candidates will have to clock on 'Login/ Register' tab and enter your Login ID and Password.

Step 3: In case of no mistakes, click on 'No change required'.

Step 4: Candidates will have to click on 'Changes Required' and change the medium of exam/ exam centre/ group, in case of errors.

Step 5: Candidates will have to make the payment (only applicable in case of CA CPT application correction window two) according to the changes made by them.

What is the Validity of CPT Registration Process?

• It is important for the candidates to know the validity of the CPT registration process. The registration for Common Proficiency Course (CPC) is valid for 3 years, hereafter revalidation shall be made for every three years with a renewal fee of INR 300/-  or as decided by the Council from time to time.

• Before applying for the relevant examination, candidates should have valid registration.

What Mistakes Should be Avoided in CA CPT Application Form Filling 2021?

• Candidates are advised not to make any spelling errors in Name and other details of the application form.  

• Candidates must fill the mandatory details like, phone number, E-Mail ID, and communication address accurately as all the communication will be done through this medium only.

• Candidates must pay the application fee well on time. Once after application fee payment, candidates must check the status of fee payment in order to confirm whether their application process has been completed or not.

What After Submitting CA CPT Application Form 2021?

Application form filling is one of an important step for the candidates who are aiming to take CA CPT 2021. Since this entrance examination is held twice a year, therefore, candidates will have to fill the online application form separately for each examination.  For application form filling, candidates will have to fill in the details and download the application form. ICAI will release the application form. Once candidates have submitted the application form, they will get successfully registered and will receive the CA CPT 2021 admit card/ hall ticket and then they can appear for the entrance examination.
