CT SET is a university-level scholarship entrance exam for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs at CT University. CT SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria outline the qualifications and academic requirements for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs. CT SET General Eligibility Criteria 

  • CT SET is mandatory for admission to selected UG and PG programmes offered by CT University (unless exempted by merit or national-level entrance qualification).

  • Applicants must fulfill minimum academic qualifications for their chosen programme.

  • Candidates awaiting Class 10+2 or final semester results may apply, but they must submit proof of eligibility during counselling/admission.

CT SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for UG Programs

  • Applicants must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 from any recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Technical Vocational subjects.

  • Applicants must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the above-mentioned subjects from any board recognized by the State Governments, Central Government, Union Territories, or an equivalent qualification.

CT SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for PG Programs

  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for CT SET-2026.

  • Candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their graduation from a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Technical Vocational subjects.

  • Applicants must achieve a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in these subjects from any board recognized by the respective State Governments, Central Government, Union Territories, or an equivalent qualification.

CT SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Diploma Courses

  • Candidates must have a three-year bachelor’s degree in any stream or a BE/BTech with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university or institution, or an equivalent qualification.

Important Points to Remember for CT SET 2026 Eligibility

  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for CT SET-2026.
  • Candidates must have either completed or be appearing for their final 10+2 examination in 2024 from:
    • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi)
    • Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE, New Delhi)
    • Any State Board
    • Any other council, institution, or college recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi, or other relevant apex bodies.  

CT SET Application Form 2026

Option I: Online Mode

  • The application form is available online on the official website.
  • Visit www.ctuniversity.in or ctset.ctuniversity.in.
  • Click the “CTSET 2026 Apply Now” button and log in.
  • Fill in the required candidate details and complete the registration process.
  • Pay the registration fee of INR 500 online using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card. Ensure you have online banking facilities for payment.

Option II: Offline Mode

  • Visit CT University’s admission offices or authorized centers.
  • Purchase the CTSET brochure and application form for INR 500.
  • Register on the official website using the unique number provided on the offline form.
  • Complete the remaining admission steps as per the online process.

Application Fee

  • The CT SET application fee is Rs 500 which can be paid both in the online mode and offline mode. 

Documents Required during Application Process

  • Class 10th mark sheet and certificate 

  • Class 12th mark sheet and passing certificate (or relevant for diploma/qualifying exam) 

  • For PG / higher-level courses: Graduation degree & mark sheet (if applicable) 

  • Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate (from previous board/university)

  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable. 

  • Passport-size photographs 

  • Character certificate (sometimes required) and possibly medical fitness certificate, anti-ragging affidavit 

  • In case of a study gap: an affidavit/explanation for gap period (if required).

CT SET 2025 Exam Pattern for Engineering Program

  • Mode of Exam: Online
  • Total Questions: 100
  • Total Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes)
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer earns 1 mark, with no negative marking for incorrect responses.

CT SET Syllabus 2026

General Awareness

This section typically tests overall general knowledge which include:

  • For Humanities / Law / Arts / Design / Multimedia / Hotel Management / Fashion / Tourism / etc.: general aptitude, basic mathematics or reasoning + general knowledge, depending on course requirement.

CT SET Programmes Offered

The CT  university offers 34 undergraduate programs, 26 full-time postgraduate courses, 2 part-time postgraduate courses, and various research and doctoral programs across its schools. CT SET 2026 scholarships will be granted to a select number of candidates based on their exam performance.
