HPU B.Ed CET Counselling 2026: HPU B.Ed 2026 counselling process will begin in the first week of August 2026. The online registration process for Round 1 will begin in the first week of August 2026 and will continue till the second week of August 2026. Here is the step-by-step process for HPU B.Ed CET 2026 counselling - 

Visit the Official Website

• To begin the counselling process, the candidates have to check in to the official website. They will get the option of Candidate Activity. 
• They have to click on that and they will be redirected to the “Apply for B.Ed Round 1 Online Counselling”.
• They will then have to enter their registration details and log in to the online admission system for the applicants. On doing so, they will reach the Personal Information page. 
• Please note that candidates are not authorised to edit the data of the Personal Information page. They have to tap on the next button and reach the fee payment page.

Counselling Fee Payment

• On this page, candidates have to pay the counselling fee for HPU B.Ed CET 2026 online. 
• They will see the counselling charge displayed on the screen, hit “Continue for Payment”, reach the payment gateway web page and execute the payment.
• After the candidates pay the fee, they will receive a transaction reference number.
• They can also check the status on the counselling portal of HPU B.Ed CET and it will confirm them the same.

College Selection and College Preferences

• Aspirants have to now navigate to the College Selection page. 
• They will see a list of district-wise colleges and they have to give their preferences.

HPU B.Ed CET 2026 Seat Allotment / College Allotment

Some major pointers related to the college allotment of HPU B.Ed CET 2026 -

• Candidates will be allocated colleges depending on their merit list position/ rank and the preferences picked by them.
• Those who have filled out their choices in Round 1 and Round 2 of counselling, but did not report to the assigned college for document validation will be rejected and not given consideration for Round 3 of counselling.
• Candidates who wish to join the assigned institution must visit the same to get their documents verified within the time frame given by the admission committee.
• Aspirants must have the college allotment letter with them and the printout of the application form for the verification process.
• Once the validation is done by the authorities, the students will have to pay the admission fees via the online payment portal of the university and produce the fee receipt at the allotted institution.

Shift College Selections

• If the candidates want to shift the college after completing the verification and admission fee payment, then they have to log in to the counselling website. 
• They have to press the “Upgrade” button on the portal to register their decision that they want to change the allocated college.
• The authorities will allow the candidates to attend round 2 of the HPU B.Ed CET counselling given it is within the deadline.

Who can participate in the HPU B.Ed CET Mop-up Round 2?

• B.Ed aspirants who have appeared for HPU B.Ed CET examination but didn’t apply for Counselling rounds 1, 2 and 3 along with Correction cum Mop-up round.
• Those individuals who were allocated a college in Counselling rounds 1, 2 and 3 along with the Correction cum Mop-up round but did not submit the admission fee to confirm their seats. 
• Candidates who were not assigned any college / seat in Counselling rounds 1, 2 and 3 and Correction cum Mop-up round. 

Who cannot participate in the HPU B.Ed CET Mop-up Round 2?

• Individuals who have secured their seats in the allocated college in Counselling rounds 1, 2 and 3 by paying the online admission fee and have selected ‘NO’ as an answer in the question box “Do you want to change / upgrade your existing college?”
