JCECE 2025 BSc Agriculture Counselling Process

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board began the JCECE BSc Agriculture 2025 counselling process on August 16, 2025. The last date to register for the online registration and choice filling process for JCECE BSc Agriculture 1st round of counselling was August 22, 2025. Students can edit/modify their choices and preferences till August 23, 2025.

The JCECE Agriculture seat allotment list 2025 for the 1st round of counselling will be released by the JCECEB on August 26, 2025. Students will be able to download the seat allotment lists by entering their login credentials, like their login ID, password, and CAPTCHA code.

In addition to this, the JCECEB has also released a detailed notification regarding the JCECE BSc Agriculture exam counselling and seat allotment process. Students can access the notification here:

The JCECE BSc Agri 2025 Result was released on July 31, 2025. Students who cleared this state-level entrance examination are eligible to appear for the JCECE Agriculture counselling rounds. A total of three counselling rounds will be conducted by the JCECEB for BSc Agriculture admissions 2025.

During counselling, students must register on the online portal and fill in their choices for colleges. Based on their preferences, JCECE scores, category, and available seats, they will receive a seat assignment. As seats become available, they will be allocated according to the student's choices. Students who get a seat can download their provisional seat allotment letter from the portal and must report to the assigned college with all required documents for verification and admission.

Students need to pay the JCECE counselling fee of INR 400 using RTGS or a debit/credit card. The counselling fee for SC/ST/Female categories is INR 250.

JCECE B.Sc Agriculture Detailed Counselling Procedure 2025

The candidates enlisted in the Merit List are advised to carefully read the Counselling Information Bulletin that will be published by JCECE Board. It will guide them with the course of action to be taken by them for appearing in the counselling process. All the information regarding date, time, place and mode of counselling will be notified through the leading daily news papers of Jharkhand State as well as the Board's website. Counselling will be conducted in two Rounds

1st Round of Counselling:

  • After publication of the result, successful candidates will be called for counselling as per their merit rank. 

2nd Round of Counselling: 

  • If seats are vacant after admission of recommended candidates even after the first round of counselling, a second round of counselling will be held.
  • In this counselling, the candidates who had been admitted through 1st round of counselling may also participate to change their course and/or Institute.

Important directions and information for counselling/admission 

  • The Head of Institutes won't consider change requests after admission ends.
  • Counselling Fee: General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II candidates pay ₹400 (₹250 for SC/ST/Female). Payment methods and details will be in counselling ads.
  • The controller of the Examination's decisions are final.
  • Stay updated on the Board's website.
  • Govt./Board can make rule changes, notified through newspapers/website.
  • Candidates must bring ONLINE ADMIT CARD for counselling/admission.
  • False identity will lead to cancellation and legal action.
  • Debarment until court decision for legal issues.
  • Disputes settled in Jharkhand High Court/Ranchi Civil Court.
  • Controller of Examination is the legal authority.
  • Required documents for counselling/admission: originals and self-attested copies.
  • Admission depends on document verification and identity confirmation.
  • Absence or incomplete documents lead to automatic rejection.

Students for the JCECE 2025 BSc Agriculture counselling interview must bring all required documents (original and Xerox copies). The following is a list of documents needed for JCECE 2025 BSc Agriculture Counselling:

  • Matric/10th/Equivalent Exam: Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Passing Certificate (Original/Provisional).
