Students who are appearing for the Class 12 board exam can also apply for the Rajasthan JET 2024 exam. Candidates from the General category must have a minimum of 50% in Class XII to sit for the Rajasthan JET examination as per Rajasthan JET 2024 eligibility criteria. The minimum percentage of marks required for reserved category candidates is 45% as per Rajasthan JET eligibility criteria 2024. According to the Rajasthan JET 2024 eligibility criteria, the maximum age limit is 25 years.

Before applying for any examination, candidates should first understand the eligibility criteria. Before filling out the online JET Agriculture 2024 application form, candidates must ensure that they are eligible to take the test. If any candidate is found to have violated the rules of admission in terms of eligibility, their candidature will be rejected, and they will not be assigned to any institutions. Candidates must meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below in order to take the exam. The Rajasthan JET 2024 eligibility criteria is given below:
The candidate must have passed class 10+2 an equivalent exam from the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer or any other Statutory Board.
The candidate must have studied Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics subjects in the qualifying course as per Rajasthan JET eligibility criteria 2024.
For admission to B. Tech (Dairy Technology)/ B. Tech (Food technology), the candidate must have studied Science in class 12th with Mathematics and Physics as the major subjects.
The candidate must have attained an aggregate of 50% (45% for OBC/ SC/ ST) in the qualifying exam as per Rajasthan JET 2024 eligibility criteria.
Candidates who are currently taking the final exam or waiting for results can apply for Rajasthan JET on a provisional basis. Such candidates must generate the original mark sheet while filling out their options.
In order to be eligible for Rajasthan JET 2024, a candidate must meet the maximum age limit in addition to the educational requirements. When submitting an application for Rajasthan JET 2024, a candidate cannot be older than 25 years old, per the age Rajasthan JET 2024 eligibility criteria. The candidate’s age will be taken into account based on the information provided in their class 10th certificate.
Candidates with Rajasthan state domicile will fill all seats in institutes affiliated with Rajasthan State Agriculture Universities, as well as 5% of seats in private Rajasthan institutes. Candidates applying for Rajasthan JET 2024 must meet the than Rajasthan JET 2024 eligibility criteria listed below to be considered a Rajasthan domicile.:
The candidate must have studied for 3 years continuously in a school recognised by the Rajasthan Government.
OR
The father or mother of the candidate has been residing in Rajasthan for the past 10 years and the candidate has been studying continuously during this period for the past 5 years in a school in Rajasthan.
OR
The candidate must be a bona fide resident of Rajasthan. Even though the candidate may be presently studying in a school of any of the states other than Rajasthan.
OR
The father or mother of the candidate must be a retired/ present employee at one of the following undertakings for at least 3 years continuously:
Government of Rajasthan and Officer of All India Services in the State Cadre of Rajasthan
Undertaking/ Corporation/ Improvement Trust/ Municipal Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan by an act of Law
Any of the State Universities in Rajasthan or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan
OR
The father or mother of the candidate is a retired/ presently serving the Indian Defence Service (Army/Navy/Air force) either of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his/her place of posting or is posted in Rajasthan at the time of the last date of the application for admission.
OR
The father or mother of the candidate is a retired/ presently serving the Para-Military Forces of India either of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his/her place of posting or is posted in Rajasthan at the time of the last date of the submission of application.
OR
The father or the mother of the candidate is Rajasthan High Court’s judge. Such candidates; however, will have to submit an undertaking that they have not claimed this benefit in any other state.
The reserved candidates in Rajasthan will be given some seat reservation as prescribed by the Rajasthan government and later adopted by AU Kota. Note that these reservation policies as per Rajasthan JET eligibility criteria 2024 will only apply to domicile candidates; all other state candidates will be considered General category candidates. To be eligible for reservation, all candidates from the reserved category must submit proof documents.
The selection of the military ward will be done in the following order of priority:

6 | Wards of Defense Personnel who are currently serving. |
7 | Wards of Ex-policemen. |

The candidate is a son/daughter of a permanent or retired employee of the Indian Defence Service, and the employee is either of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his/her place of posting, or is posted in Rajasthan at the time of the last date of the application for admission, provided that in case the defence personnel is of Rajasthan origin, a certificate from the employer stating that his/her State of origin is Rajasthan at the time of entry into service.
