The RUPGCET counselling 2020 plays an important role in the admission of candidates in the Rayalaseema University. The RUPGCET 2020 counselling process takes place in two phases. The RUPGCET counselling is conducted within one month of the result being declared. 

The Counselling process of RUPGCET 2020 is conducted to allocate the students the college they want to join with the subject they wish to join. Candidates must know that admission in Rayalaseema University takes place through RUPGCET 2020. Only the candidates who qualify the entrance exam would be called to participate in the counselling process. 

The RUPGCET counselling 2020 is divided into different stages. Candidates must not forget to carry important documents. These documents will be verified on the day of RUPGCET 2020 counselling. 

Applicants must not fail to appear on the day of RUPGCET 2020 counselling because then the candidate loses his opportunity. So the applicants will have to wait for the extra seats available after all the counselling rounds are done.

Some Important Instructions for RUPGCET 2020 Counselling process

The RUPGCET 2020 counselling process takes place in two-phase. So the applicants of RUPGCET 2020 must know some important pointers which they must follow during the counselling process of the candidate. 

  • The order of merit will be decided on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate

  • If there is a tie, then the tie will be resolved on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. If the tie further exists, the marks in group subjects will be considered. If the tie still exists, the date of birth of the candidates will be considered. 

  • Admission will be made on the basis the weightage of marks obtained in the entrance exam for all the courses mentioned here except M.PEd. Admissions for M.P.Ed will be made on the basis of marks for the Sports achievers.

  • The Counselling Schedule will be available on our website and Rank Card can be obtained from the official website. 

  • If any candidate fails to report the allocating centre on time, then he/ she would be called for it towards the end of all the allocations if only seats are available. 

  • Applicants will have to pay the prescribed admission fee or processing fee at the time of counselling to lock their seat. 

  • Form B must be submitted at the time of counselling. If a candidate is already allotted a college, he has the option of taking a transfer only if he pays 300/- 

  • One applicant can apply for transfer only twice. The second time he/she applies for transfer will have to pay 500/- for the second transfer only is there are available seats. 

  • The candidate opted for a particular course and if that particular course is allocated then the candidate will be allowed to change the course for twice only. The first time he changes his opted course, he will have to pay 300/- and the second time he opts for a change in the subject he would have to pay 500/-

  • Candidates will have to provide them with the income certificate issued by the M.R.O. It would be considered valid only if the certificate has been issued within 6 months from the date of Counselling.  

  • If applied for reimbursement then the limit to the reimbursement is 20,000/-

  • Applicants who have already taken admission in Rayalaseema University must pay an additional 100/- to get the reimbursement of 20,000/-

Documents Required for RUPGCET 2020 counselling process

Applicants who arrive at the seat allocation centre must carry the documents mentioned below. 

  • Admit card/ Hall ticket

  • Rank card/Scorecard

  • Study certificate from class 11 onwards

  • Caste certificate Scheduled Caste / Schedule Tribe / Backward classes

  • PH/NCC/NSS and Sports category certificate

  • If Tahasildar then income certificate

  • Mark sheet for Provisional certificate

  • Transfer certificate 

  • Conduct certificate

  • SSC or Intermediate pass out

  • Certificate of non-local residential

  • Migration Certificate
