As intimated by the concerned authority i.e. WBJEEB (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board), eligibility criteria for WB JEPBN 2024 are specific requirements that aspirants must meet to be considered for admission. The eligibility criteria for the WB JEPBN 2024 application differs from that of the counselling process. Suppose a candidate fills out the application form without meeting the requirements. In that case, the examination board will have the authority to take actions like canceling his/ her candidature at the time of document verification. WB JEPBN 2024 Academic Requirements

• Candidates must have completed at least 10+2 level of education from a recognised board of education, be it central or state. 

• Students must have passed both theory and practical exams separately.

• Candidates must also hold a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).

• The Diploma must have been received by a UGC recognised university.

• If applicable, candidates must have completed their compulsory internship before admission. 

• It is required for aspirants to obtain registration or RN/ RM Certification from from any State Nursing Council in India. 

WB JEPBN 2024 Age Limit

• For candidates currently employed in private institutions, there is no age limit. 

• For candidates employed in Govt institutions, the age limit is 53 years. 

• This age limit can be waived off if special permission is obtained from JS (N)/ DHS/ Secretary (Nursing)/ Higher Authorities.

Eligibility Criteria for WB JEPBN 2024 - Citizenship

• Ensuring to meet the stipulated requirements should be the top priority of interested candidates prior to filling out the application form.

• The applicant must be a Citizen of India.

• Applicants must make sure to produce a document proving the same.

Work Experience Requirements for WB JEPBN 2024

• Candidates who are currently employed in private institutions, holding work experience is not necessary. 

• Those employed in govt. institutions must hold at least 3 years of uninterrupted and regularised experience in government service by September 2023.
