Common Mistakes to Avoid During AIIMS BSc Nursing Registration

Even after being eligible, the high-scoring students also face rejection because of a technical error in the AIIMS PAAR registration process. To make sure you are selected in the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 registration process, make sure you don’t make the common mistakes stated below.

  1. Invalid Photograph Specifications: AIIMS is extremely strict about photo quality. And you must not upload your photo with a colored background. It must be in plain white background, with no shadows, and both ears must be clearly visible.
  2. Signature & Thumb Impression Errors: Do not use a thin pen or upload a blurred scan. Use a thick-tip black/blue ink pen for your signature and a clear, non-smudged blue/black stamp pad for your left thumb impression. The images must be in the clear dimensions mentioned in the prospectus.
  3. Ignoring the Two-Step Registration Process: Completing the "Basic Registration" does not mean your application is submitted. You must generate the Registration Unique Code (RUC) and complete the "Final Registration", including fee payment &exam city selection. If you do not complete the final registration process after basic registration, then you will be rejected by the NTA.
  4. Incorrect Category Selection: You cannot change your category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) once the registration window closes. In case you entered a reserved category but your certificate states some other category, then you will be disqualified. For example, if you belong to the OBC but your certificate states you are an ST category applicant, then you are rejected.
  5. Mismatched Identity Proof: The name and Date of Birth on your registration form must exactly match your 10th-grade marksheet and the ID proof, such as Aadhaar, Passport, etc. You must carry the required documents to the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 exam centre. Even a spelling mistake would lead to disqualification or inspection & you will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
