DUET 2019 Exam Pattern

DU UG Entrance Exam 2019 is conducted in online mode by NTA in the third or last week of June 2019. Delhi University has released the detailed exam pattern of DU UG entrance exam 2019. The candidates aspiring for the admission in the University of Delhi entrance-based UG courses will have to check the exam pattern of the entrance exam to have an idea of various subjects and sections covered in the entrance exam. As NTA is conducting the entrance exam of Delhi University for UG courses, the mode exam will be the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The candidates will have to choose the answer from the four questions displayed on the screen.  In order to help the candidates to be familiar with the exam mode, NTA may upload some mock tests of DU UG entrance exam 2019. General Exam Pattern for DUET 2019

The DU UG entrance exam pattern 2019 varies from one course to another. In order to help the candidates, we have given the general exam pattern of DU UG entrance exam 2019 -

  • The examination is to be held from the third week of June 2019

  • The entrance is organized through Computer-based training mode (CBT). This allows aspirants from all across the country to appear in the entrance with ease

  • The duration of the examination is two hours for all the courses

  • The question paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

  • The total number of questions asked in the entrance is 100

  • Each question carries 4 marks. So for every correct answer, test takers are awarded 4 marks

  • There is negative marking for incorrect answers. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted for the sum total

Exam Pattern

BA (Hons.) Business Economics/Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS)/ Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) (BBA(FIA)

The question paper can be divided into four major sections. These sections include Quantitative Ability, General English, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Business and General Awareness.

The selection is done on the basis of a merit list prepared by taking into account 65% of the marks scored in the entrance exam and 35% of the marks scored in the qualifying exam.

B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation)

The question paper is based on Mathematics, Analytical and Reasoning Abilities. The questions of 10+2 levels are asked in the entrance.

Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

Questions are asked from four major sections which include English, Mathematics, Hindi, Science and Social Science. The questions are asked at 10th standard level.

B.A. (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences.

Questions are asked from the following sections - Communication Skills, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Analytical Ability. The questions are asked at the 10+2 level.

Candidates can answer the questions in both Hindi and English.

Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports (B.Sc. [P.E.H.E .& S.])

The admission to the following courses are done through the entrance test which can be divided into three integral parts - Written Entrance Test (50%), Physical Fitness test (20%), Sports Proficiency Award (30%). No descriptive question is asked in the question paper. Candidates can appear in the entrance in both Hindi and English language.

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Multimedia and Mass Communication

The questions are asked from the following sections - General Awareness, Media Awareness, Current Affairs, English Comprehension and Grammatical and Analytical Skills. No descriptive question is to be answered by the candidates.
