The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will most likely be announcing the result of the Preliminary exam in October or November 2023.It is important for candidates to know how their results will be calculated and what parameters will be taken into consideration while calculating the Prelims result of IBPS PO 2023. These parameters include the difficulty level of the examination, average marks along with the cut-off marks, total marks, and Correct and Incorrect marks collected by candidates.
The corrected scores secured by each of the candidates in different sessions will be normalized using the equi-percentile method. For the purpose of calculation, two decimal points will be scored. Yes, there is sectional cut-off in the exam. You have to clear every section in order to be shortlisted for the Interview.
I have cleared the overall cut-off for the exam. However, I could not clear the cut-off for the General Awareness section. Am I still eligible?
Unfortunately, you are not eligible to move to the interview stage. You must clear the cut-off for each section and the overall cut-off as well.
