KTET Selection Process 2026

The KTET 2026 selection process consists of three key stages,  the written examination, interview, and document verification. The written exam is conducted in a multiple-choice question format, and a final merit list is prepared based on the scores obtained by candidates. For certain categories, a skill test focused on teaching methods may also be included as part of the selection procedure.

The KTET 2026 selection process is expected to begin shortly after the official release of the KTET Result 2026. The exam is conducted across four categories, with each category targeting a different teaching job profile. The Kerala Government Education Board releases thousands of teaching vacancies every year, including positions such as PGT, TGT, PRT, Language Teacher, and TGT Miscellaneous. Candidates who wish to secure a government teaching job in Kerala must successfully complete all three stages of the selection process, the KTET 2026 Exam, Interview, and Document Verification, in order to be considered for final recruitment.
