MP PAT Counselling Process 2020

The Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test or MP PAT 2020 exam will be conducted by the MP Professional Examination Board, Bhopal in the 4th week of April 2020. And the MP PAT counselling is expected to commence during the month of August after the MP PAT result 2020 & merit list is released. Through the counselling process, all eligible candidates will be allocated seats in colleges offering a course in Agriculture and other related subjects. 

The counselling process for MP PAT 2020 will start after the candidates successfully register themselves online on the MP PAT 2020 counselling portal. All the eligible candidates will be provided with a unique ID and password after they log into the official website which has to be used by them for logging in to the MP PAT 2020 counselling portal. 

The MP PAT counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds and the allotment of seats to the candidates will be carried out on the basis of the rank secured by the candidates and preference submitted by them during the registration process. The students who are shortlisted for the counselling process of MP PAT will need to select their choice of agriculture colleges & courses preferred. The MP Professional Examination Board will the allocate seat basis the candidate's rank, filled choices & rank. 

After being allocated seats, the candidates have to report physically at the college/institution and must carry with themselves a copy of the seat allotment sheet and seat allotment letter, along with documents like 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, birth certificate, caste certificate, residence proof, ID proof, MP PAT 2020 Admit card, MP PAT 2020 result and 4 passport size photographs.

Step by Step MP PAT Counselling Process 2020

This section deals specifically with the step by step MP PAT 2020 counselling process:

Step 1 - Registration: The eligible candidates have to, first of all, register themselves for the MP PAT 2020 counselling process online. For the registration purpose, the candidates have to feed in all the details asked for.

Step 2 - Document Verification: The candidates have to get their relevant documents verified in this step. The candidates have to produce all the documents such as mark sheets of Class Xth and XIIth, birth certificate, a certificate stating caste (if applicable), residence proof etc to be verified by the MP PAT officials

Step 3 - Choice Filling: In this step, the candidates have to enter their preference of college and course on the basis of which the allocation of seats will be carried out

Step 4 - Tuition Fee Submission: The submission of the partial tuition fee by the candidates via any of the available mode of payment will be the conclusion of step 4 of the MP PAT 2020 counselling process

Step 5 - Allotment of Seats: On the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the MP PAT entrance exam and choices filled by them, the seat allotment process will take place. After the allotment of seats is over, the candidates have to report physically to the allocated institute to confirm their admission

MP PAT 2020 Counselling: Documents Required for Verification

The following documents have to be in possession of the candidates during the verification of documents stage of the MP PAT counselling process:

  • Scorecard of MP PAT 2020

  • Admit card of MP PAT 2020

  • Class Xth marksheet

  • Class XIIth marksheet

  • Medical certificate

  • Certificate of birth (for age proof)

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • Residence proof

  • Recent passport-sized photograph (4 X Nos)

  • Any valid Id proof

MP PAT Reservation of Seats 2020

The MP PAT 2020 reservation policy will deal in detail about the percentage of seats which will set aside for applicants belonging to the reserved categories:

Other then the ones mentioned above, applicants satisfying the following eligibility criteria will also find a certain percentage of seats reserved for them in the MP PAT 2020 participating institutes:

  • Applicant/s belonging to farmer families where agricultural land contributes as the main source of income will have 5% horizontal reserved seats

  • 30% of seats will be horizontally reserved for “Female” candidates

  • 3% of the total number of available seats will be reserved for:

  1. War widows and dependants of war martyrs

  2. Persons with a disability during wartime and their dependants

  3. Dependants of martyrs during peace

  4. Dependants of persons with a disability during peace 

  5. Dependants of Current/Ex-Servicemen who have been awarded Ashoka Chakra/Paramvir Chakra/Mahavir Chakra/Seva Medal/Uttam Seva Medal/Kirti Chakra/Shaurya Chakra/Vir Chakra etc
