MP PAT Eligibility Criteria 2020

The MP PAT eligibility criteria are different for different courses which are regulated by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal. The candidates, thus, must actively engage themselves in obtaining as much as possible information regarding the detailed MP PAT 2020 eligibility criteria before applying for the MP PAT 2020 entrance exam. 

Candidates who want to apply for B.Sc in Forestry through MP PAT 2020 entrance exam must also fulfil the minimum physical fitness eligibility laid down by the authorities. The table below discusses in detail regarding the MP PAT eligibility criteria for the year 2020 and additional criterions which must be fulfilled by the candidates before filling up the online application forms.

10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board/University

Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam level

Candidates appearing for their 10+2 qualifying exam can also apply for MP PAT 2020

B.Sc (Agriculture)

10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board/University

Applicants must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam level in addition to having studied either Mathematics, Biology, Forestry and Agriculture at the same level

Candidates appearing for their 10+2 qualifying exam can also apply for MP PAT 2020

B.Sc (Horticulture)

10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board/University

Applicants must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam level in addition to having studied either Mathematics, Biology, Forestry and Agriculture at the same level

Candidates appearing for their 10+2 qualifying exam can also apply for MP PAT 2020

B.Sc (Forestry)

10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board/University

Applicants must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam level in addition to having studied either Agriculture, Forestry, Mathematics and Biotechnology at the same level

  • The applicants must also fulfil the physical fitness eligibility laid down by the authorities 

  • Candidates appearing for their 10+2 qualifying exam can also apply for MP PAT 2020

Physical Fitness Eligibility for MP PAT 2020 B.Sc (Forestry) Programme

  • The applicants must not be less than 163 cms in Height in order to be eligible to apply for the B.Sc in Forestry programme through MP PAT 2020

  • The fully expanded chest girth of the applicants should not be less than 84 cms 

  • Applicants belonging to the following areas must be more than or equivalent to 152.5 cms in height to be eligible to apply for the aforementioned programme

  1. Nepal

  2. Gorkha

  3. Kumaon

  4. Garhwal

  5. Tripura

  6. Manipur

  7. Nefa

  8. Sikkim

  9. Bhutan and

  10. Ladakh

MP PAT Reservation Policy 2020

The MP PAT 2020 reservation policy will deal in detail about the percentage of seats which will set aside for applicants belonging to the reserved categories:

Other then the ones mentioned above, applicants satisfying the following eligibility criteria will also find a certain percentage of seats reserved for them in the MP PAT 2020 participating institutes:

  • Applicant/s belonging to farmer families where agricultural land contributes as the main source of income will have 5% horizontal reserved seats

  • 30% of seats will be horizontally reserved for “Female” candidates

  • 3% of the total number of available seats will be reserved for:

  1. War widows and dependants of war martyrs

  2. Persons with a disability during wartime and their dependants

  3. Dependants of martyrs during peace

  4. Dependants of persons with a disability during peace 

  5. Dependants of Current/Ex-Servicemen who have been awarded Ashoka Chakra/Paramvir Chakra/Mahavir Chakra/Seva Medal/Uttam Seva Medal/Kirti Chakra/Shaurya Chakra/Vir Chakra etc

  6. Wards/Dependants of Ex-Servicemen

  7. Wards/Dependants of Current Servicemen
