MP PAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

MP PAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria has been released by theMadhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (PEB). According to the latest MP PAT eligibility criteria 2024, candidates must have qualified in Class 12 with mandatory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as English, Agriculture, or Forestry. Candidates who obtain 55% of marks or above in Class 12th are eligible to apply and appear for MP PAT 2024. Aspirants who would like to appear for the exam must fill and submit the MP PAT application form 2024.

Candidates aspiring for admission in B.Sc Agriculture course must satisfy the following MP PAT eligibility criteria 2024 conditions The duration of the B.Sc Agriculture course is 4 years, and the MP PAT eligibility criteria 2024 for admission is as follows -

MP PAT Eligibility Rule 1The candidate must have passed Class 12th with minimum qualifying mark.
MP PAT Eligibility Rule 2The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/ Forestry at +2 level. (OR) Knowledge useful for Agriculture and Arithmetic/ Crop Production/ Animal Husbandry/ Cattle Farming. Candidates who have studied any of these subjects in Class 12 are eligible for MP PAT B.Sc Agriculture.

MP PAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Horticulture

Candidates aspiring for admission in BSc Horticulture course through MP PAT must satisfy the following MP PAT eligibility criteria 2024 conditions -

  • The minimum qualification is Class 12 pass with minimum qualifying marks.
  • The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/ Forestry at +2 level. (OR) Knowledge useful for Agriculture and Arithmetic/ Crop Production/ Animal Husbandry/ Cattle Farming.
  • Candidates who have studied any of these subjects in Class 12 are eligible for MP PAT B.Sc Horticulture.

MP PAT 2024 Eligibility for B.Sc Forestry

Candidates aspiring for taking admission in B.Sc Forestry through MP PAT must satisfy the MP PAT 2024 eligibility criteria mentioned below -

Minimum Qualification

The candidates must have passed Class 12th with minimum qualifying marks,

Mandatory Subjects in Class 12th

The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture/ Mathematics/ Biology/ Forestry in Class 12th. 

MP PAT 2024 Eligibility for B.Tech Agriculture Engineering

Candiadtes who are applying for B.Tech Agriculture Engineering admission through MP PAT should be aware about the MP PAT eligibility criteria 2024. The MP PAT 2024 eligibility criteria for BTech Agriculture Engineering can be checked below -

  • The candidates must have passed Class 12th with minimum qualifying marks.
  • The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. 

MP PAT Reservation Policy 2024

The MP PAT eligibility criteria 2024 also includes the MP PAT 2024 reservation policy. The MP PAT reservation policy will deal in detail about the percentage of seats that will set aside for applicants belonging to the reserved categories: -

Aside from the ones listed above, applicants who meet the following MP PAT eligibility criteria will have a certain percentage of seats reserved for them in the MP PAT 2024 participating institutes:

  • Applicants from farmer families with agricultural land as the primary source of income will have 5% horizontal reserved seats.

  • 3% of seats will be horizontally reserved for “Female” candidates

  • 3% of the total number of available seats will be reserved for:

  1. War widows and dependants of war martyrs

  2. Persons with a disability during wartime and their dependants

  3. Dependants of martyrs during peace

  4. Dependants of persons with a disability during peace 

  5. Dependants of Current/Ex-Servicemen who have been awarded Ashoka Chakra/Paramvir Chakra/Mahavir Chakra/Seva Medal/Uttam Seva Medal/Kirti Chakra/Shaurya Chakra/Vir Chakra etc

  6. Wards/Dependants of Ex-Servicemen

  7. Wards/Dependants of Current Servicemen

  8. 5% of seats will be reserved for disabled/ handicapped individuals

  9. People from EWS (Economically Weaker Societies) will get 10% reservation.

What is the upper age limit to appear for MP PAT?

There is no upper age limit to appear for MP PAT. However, for courses like B.Sc Forestry, the upper age limit for General category maybe around 21-24. 

What are the mandatory subjects required at +2 to get admission in B.Tech Agriculture Engineering through MP PAT?

Candidates who have studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in Class 12 are eligible for B.Tech Agriculture Engineering admission through MP PAT.

Are students appearing for compartment or supplementary exams eligible for MP PAT?

Students who are appearing for compartment exams can appear for MP PAT. However, such candidates must justify his/ her qualifying status by the time counselling starts.

Dear Student 

Yes, certainly the question paper for PCB and PCM is different in MP PAT. In PCB question papers, questions from Physics (50 Marks), Chemistry (50 Marks), and Biology (100 Marks) are asked whereas in PCM  the question paper consists of these subjects viz Physics (50 Marks), Chemistry (50 Marks), and Mathematics (100 Marks)
