The OPSC Exam Pattern 2025 for the Odisha Civil Services Examination is divided into three stages including Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and Personality Test/ Interview. The OPSC CSE Application Form 2025 for preliminary exams commenced on January 17, 2025, and the deadline for submission was February 16, 2025. The preliminary exam of Odisha Civil Services Exam 2025 consists of two papers comprising objective type or multiple-choice questions. The duration of each paper is 2 hours. While the Paper-I exam takes place in the morning session, the Paper-II exam takes place in the afternoon session. The exam pattern for the Preliminary Exam of Odisha Civil Services is as follows.
The OPSC civil services exam pattern and the recruiting announcement were both released by the commission. The civil services exam is designed to rigorously evaluate the applicant's suitability for employment in this distinguished position. The Preliminary, Main, and Personality Test stages make up the majority of the exam format. A table outlining these three sections of the OPSC Civil Services Test Pattern is provided below:

The candidates need to score a minimum of 33% of marks in the Odisha Civil Services Prelims Exam. However, the candidates should note that they will have to score a minimum of 33% of marks in Paper-II. Only if the candidates score these marks in Paper-II, his/her/theirs Paper-I will be evaluated.
Only the candidates who clear the Preliminary exam are eligible for the Mains exam. The Mains exam comprises of the following subjects:

The following is the list of optional subjects in OPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2025, and the candidates are allowed to choose at least two subjects among the list of subjects available:
Candidates are barred from choosing the following subject combinations in the Mains Exam of OPSC 2025:
Only the candidates who clear the Mains exam as per the cut-off specified by OPSC are eligible for the Personality Test or Interview. The candidates must note that the Personality Test carries 250 marks, and the commission does not fix any minimum qualifying mark for Personality Test or Interview.
