(Hons.) courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, or Community Science must have a P.C.M or P.C.B in +2 Science or an equivalent exam as per OUAT eligibility criteria 2024. Applicants for B.V.Sc., A.H., and B.F.Sc. must have a +2 in PCM Science or an equivalent course with a minimum of 50% as per OUAT 2024 eligibility criteria.

Applicants must have finished their class XIIth studies from any recognised Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% combining all the subjects.
For SC/ST/PwD/PMSSS (for B.Sc (Hons) Ag at CA, BBSR) / Kashmiri Migrant / Kashmiri Pundit (Non-Migrant) / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrant) applicants, the minimum qualifying exam marks is 40%.

Odia candidates who permanently reside outside of Odisha must provide a certificate proving their Odisha origin from their employer / Tahasildar / District Magistrate in the district where they live. A certificate from the Tahasildar / District Magistrate of their native Odisha is also acceptable.
