PAU CET 2026 Counselling

PAU CET Counselling is a crucial process for students seeking admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by PAU, Ludhiana. Qualified applicants are invited to take part in the counselling rounds following the release of the PAU CET results, which decide their admission to various courses according to merit, category, and seat availability. The counselling ensures that seats are distributed in a transparent and methodical manner by acting as a link between the entrance exam and final admission. The counselling procedure generally involves online registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment and fee payment. Candidates must bring all necessary academic and personal documentation for verification, including their admit card, category certificates (if applicable), mark sheets, and identification documents. PAU holds several rounds of counselling to fill open seats. Spot counselling or mop-up rounds may also be held if any seats are still unfilled following the first rounds.

The goal of the entire procedure is to guarantee a fair distribution of seats while favouring candidates with greater qualifications. Furthermore, PAU CET exam counselling is crucial in directing students towards their desired courses and assisting them in making well-informed academic decisions that complement their professional objectives. PAU CET counselling is the last and crucial step for applicants hoping to pursue careers in home science, horticulture, forestry, agriculture, and related fields in order to gain admission to one of India's most prominent agricultural universities.
