The detailed PAU CET exam pattern 2023 along with the other relevant information about the same such as the distribution of questions, marking scheme, etc are mentioned below:

• The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours according to PAU CET 2023 exam pattern

• The question paper will be divided into 03 sections

• Section I and II, i.e Physics and Chemistry sections will be compulsory for all the candidates

• Both sections I and II will carry a total of 66 questions carrying 1 mark each

• The third section will be optional for PAU CET exam pattern 2023

• The third section will either carry a total of 68 questions of 1 mark each (Home Science/Agriculture/Biology) or 34 questions of 2 marks each (Mathematics)

• Questions carrying 1 mark will carry a negative marking of 0.25 and 2 marks questions will carry a negative marking of 1 mark

• The medium of instruction of the question paper will be in English only
