For undergraduate courses such as B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Tech. in Food Technology, and B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised board with the relevant subject combinations, typically including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, or Agriculture, as per the programme requirements.
For B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture 4-Year Programme – candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics / Agriculture as compulsory subjects and at least 50% aggregate marks for general candidates and 45% for SC / ST candidates. For B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum aggregate marks as per category norms. For B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science applicants must have passed 10+2 in any stream with English as a compulsory subject.

To get a seat at Punjab Agricultural University, you need to pass the Common Entrance Test (CET). This test is for admissions to BSc Agricultural Hons, BTech Biotechnology, BTech Food Technology, BSc Community Science Hons, and BSc Horticulture.
