PAU CET eligibility criteria 2026 outline the academic qualifications, age requirements, and other conditions that candidates must meet to apply for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes offered by the university and sit for the PAU CET exam 2026. For undergraduate courses such as B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Tech. in Food Technology, and B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised board with the relevant subject combinations, typically including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, or Agriculture, as per the programme requirements.
For B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture 4-Year Programme – candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics / Agriculture as compulsory subjects and at least 50% aggregate marks for general candidates and 45% for SC / ST candidates. For B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum aggregate marks as per category norms. For B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science applicants must have passed 10+2 in any stream with English as a compulsory subject.

No english is not required as compulsory subject in class 12 for B.Sc Agriculture course.
For B.Sc agriculture, you must clear class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics / biology / agriculture as compulsory subjects and at least 50% aggregate marks for general candidates and 45% for SC / ST candidates.

To get a seat at Punjab Agricultural University, you need to pass the Common Entrance Test (CET). This test is for admissions to BSc Agricultural Hons, BTech Biotechnology, BTech Food Technology, BSc Community Science Hons, and BSc Horticulture.
