Panjab University conducts PU CET PG counselling every year in several rounds. Prior to final seat allocation, the university conducts a separate group discussion and personal interview for admission to some of the programmes. Students who made the merit list after the release of the PU CET PG result 2025 must physically show up at their designated counselling centres. For verification, students must bring original paperwork and certifications to their neighbourhood PU CET 2025 counselling centres.

Note: Physical presence in the counselling is mandatory for all the students on the notified dates.

Following successful completion of the PU-CET (PG) exam, the candidate must complete and submit an online admission form and fulfil the course's eligibility conditions.

• Group Discussion: 7.5% of the overall PU-CET (PG) score is determined by the GD round. The examination panel will assess the candidate's leadership abilities, subject-matter knowledge, communication skills, and other personality attributes throughout the group discussion. Applicants will be asked to present their opinions on a topic or a hypothetical scenario.
  
• Personal Interview: Following the GD round, a personal interview will be conducted to evaluate the candidate's confidence, interpersonal skills, and business industry expertise. The institute will consider the candidate's extracurricular activities, academic record, and relevant professional experience.
  
• Final Selection: The candidate's total performance in the admission exam, group discussion, and personal interview will determine the final decision.

PUCET (Punjab University Common Entrance Test) is a university entrance examination. It is held to provide admission to PU Chandigarh's B.Sc (Hons.) and B.Pharmacy programmes. Depending on the number of seats available, the counselling procedure is divided into several rounds.

Candidates who pass the PU CET PG and make the merit list are eligible for the PU CET counselling process in 2025.
