As per the exam pattern of PUMDET 2021, the questions in PUMDET 2021 will comprise of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which will have four options each. Test- takers need to mark the correct answer on an OMR sheet. The exam mode is offline and candidates will be provided 90 minutes to complete the entrance examination. It must also be noted by the that there is also negative marking in the exam. Therefore, it is advisable to attempt only those questions that one is really sure off.

The exam pattern of PUMDET 2021 is as follows:
The exam will be conducted in Offline Mode.
Candidates will be allotted 90 minutes (1 hr 30 mins) to complete the entrance examination.
There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) in the entrance examination.
The total marks of the exam will be 100.
As per the marking scheme of PUMDET 2021, 2 marks will be allotted for every correct answer and ( -½ ) will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Since this is an offline exam, therefore candidates will have to answer questions on the OMR sheet. Candidates are advised to fill the answer dots correctly.
Candidates will have to darken the circle with a black/blue ballpoint pen only.
Candidates cannot mark more than one circle in the OMR sheet.
If the circles is not filled correctly or properly, the answer will be deemed as invalid.
For PUMDET 2021, the following marking scheme will be applicable in the entrance exam:
