How to Register for Rajasthan PTET 2024 Counselling

Only the candidates who have qualified for the exam will be eligible to register for the Rajasthan PTET counselling 2024. The candidates can follow the following steps for online registration -

Rajasthan PTET Admission Process 2024

The Rajasthan PTET Admission Process 2024 will be done based on merit, vacant seats, and the reservation criteria. The candidates will receive seat allotment based on the said criteria. After securing seat allocation, candidates have to report to the specified colleges and complete the admission-related process.

They have to pay the specified fees and follow the other formalities for taking admission.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Seat Allotment

• Aspirants who do not complete online counselling or refuse to accept the allotted institution through online counselling will not be considered for admission to the B.Ed course.
• All admissions to the Teacher Education Programme will be made through Rajasthan PTET 2024, which Govind Guru Tribal University will manage.
• There will be no options for filling seats at the Institutional (College) level.
• Candidates will be assigned a Teacher Education Institution / College in the State through online counselling based on their merit, as determined by their faculty, category, teaching subjects, choice of college filled, etc.
• The candidates will not be assigned seats based on belonging to their District / place or any other criteria other than those specified in the rules.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Participating Colleges

Below is the list of some of the participating colleges of PTET 2024, which the candidates can consider for admission via the counselling process. Their selection will be done on the basis of the scores obtained. However, only by achieving the cutoff or more does not guarantee them a seat in the participating colleges. They have to join the counselling process to be considered for seat allocation.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Reservation Criteria

The Rajasthan Government has allocated few seats for each district based on population. The remaining seats will be accessible to candidates who are legitimate Rajasthan residents.

Candidates from other states who are not bona fide residents of Rajasthan will be treated only in the General Category. Out of the total number of seats, not more than 5% will be filled by candidates from other states based on overall merit, provided that the merit of a candidate from outside Rajasthan is not less than the merit of the last candidate from Rajasthan in the general category.
