RIE CEE Cutoff 2023: Every year, the Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Exam (RIE CEE) is conducted and the examination authority releases the RIE CEE cutoff for further counselling & placement procedure. RIE CEE 2023 Results have been declared for some courses and the remaining degree results will also be out soon. After the declaration of all results, RIE CEE 2023 cutoff will be released for the institutes.

The RIE CEE Cutoff 2023 will be released separately for all categories including SC, ST, OBC, and General. Different states will have different RIE CEE Cutoff 2023 scores for admission. Students aspiring to secure admission through RIE CEE must be well aware of the institute-wise RIE CEE 2023 cutoff marks.

Factors Determining RIE CEE Cutoff 2023

There are various factors that determine the RIE CEE Cutoff 2023. These factors include:

  • Candidate's Domicile State (to the one where he/ she belongs)
  • Name & Type of Institute
  • Candidate's Category
  • Candidate's Course Preference
  • Student’s Qualifying Marks (10th and 12th)

How is RIE CEE Cutoff 2023 Prepared?

The RIE CEE Cutoff 2023 will be determined completely on the basis of qualifying marks in the 10th and 12th along with the state the candidate belongs to. For example, if the candidate belongs to Odisha, then the cutoff may be higher than in other states due to a huge number of applicants. 

The RIE CEE 2023 cutoff will be determined on the basis of top rankers in the qualifying exam which will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in 10th and 12th collectively. The candidates who will be on the top-ranked list will be ranked serial-wise (Top 10 or so).On the basis of seat availability, these top rankers will be assigned seats. The top-ranking candidates will be listed for each of the categories (SC, ST, OBC and General) separately.

How is RIE CEE Cutoff Calculated?

The RIE CEE cutoff is calculated on the basis of various factors. The RIE CEE cutoff iss declared on the basis of exam weightage and aggregate scores. 

The weightage of marks for RIE CEE cutoff iss determined in the following manner:

  • 60% marks weightage is given to RIE CEE entrance exam score.
  • 40% marks weightage is given to qualifying score in B.Sc. B.Ed. / B.A. B.Ed./M.Sc. Ed./B.Ed./B.Ed.-M.Ed (Integrated)/M.Ed.

The aggregate scores for different programs are calculated on the basis of the following factors:

Is there any negative marking in RIE CEE Entrance Exam?

In the RIE CEE exam, every correct answer holds a weightage of 2 marks each and 0.5 is deducted for every incorrect and 0 for unanswered questions. There is a negative marking in RIE CEE 2022.

Dear Student,

RIE CEE 2020 form will be unlocked to update the Class 12th marks soon. The last date to fill the application form is August 10, 2020. As of now, the Class 12th marks can be edited by using the 'Login'. If you are unable to edit your 12th marks through Login, you can contact the helpline through 81094 26798.
