TS PECET Syllabus 2026

The TS PECET syllabus 2026 is designed to assess a candidate’s physical fitness, sports proficiency, and fundamental understanding of physical education concepts for admission into B.P.Ed and D.P.Ed courses in Telangana. The TS PECET 2026 syllabus primarily focuses on evaluating practical skills through a Physical Efficiency Test, which measures endurance, strength, speed, and flexibility using events like the 100-metre run, long jump, and shot put. Alongside this, candidates are also tested on their performance in a chosen sports skill test, which analyzes their technique, rules knowledge, and overall gameplay in sports such as basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket, or others offered by the exam. Together, the TS PECET syllabus ensures that applicants possess the physical competence and sport-specific abilities required for advanced training in physical education and sports sciences.

TS PECET Exam Pattern 2026

The TS PECET exam pattern is designed to assess a candidate’s physical fitness, skill proficiency, and overall readiness for admission into B.P.Ed and D.P.Ed courses offered in Telangana. Unlike conventional written exams, TS PECET primarily focuses on evaluating physical capabilities through structured tests that measure endurance, strength, agility, and sports-specific skills. The exam consists of two major components: the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Skill Test in Games. The PET includes events such as a 100-meter run, shot put, long jump or high jump, and an 800-meter or 400-meter run, depending on the candidate’s gender. Following this, the Skill Test evaluates mastery in a chosen sport like basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, or kabaddi. Each component carries specific marks, contributing to the final score. The pattern ensures that candidates are tested holistically, enabling institutions to select students with strong physical aptitude, discipline, and sporting potential, making it a crucial gateway for aspiring physical education professionals in Telangana.

The TS PECET Admit Card 2026 is an essential document issued to candidates appearing for the Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test, a gateway for admission into B.P.Ed and D.P.Ed courses offered across the state. The TS PECET 2026 admit card contains crucial details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, venue, and important exam-day instructions. Candidates must download the TS PECET admit card from the official website within the stipulated time and carefully check all information for accuracy. Carrying a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID is mandatory on the exam day, as failure to do so can lead to disqualification from appearing in the test.

The result of TS PECET is released by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) in the online mode. The TS PECET 2026 result reflects candidates’ performance in the Physical Efficiency Test and Skill Test, which form the core components of the TS PECET exam.
