The results of UP B.Ed JEE 2023 were released on June 30 and the UP B.Ed JEE counselling 2023 will begin today, September 15, 2023. The counselling process for UP B.Ed JEE is conducted by the Bundelkhand University to select eligible candidates for the B.Ed programme. Counselling will be held for candidates having different ranks. The candidates within rank 1 to 75,000 need to register themselves for the counselling process from September 15 to September 21, 2023.

The counselling schedule has been announced by the conducting body last month. Candidates who achieved the cutoff marks or marks more than the cutoff in the UP B.Ed JEE exam will be eligible to register for the counselling process. Go through the below points to be aware of the Dos for UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Seat Allotment - 

  • Registration for counselling is compulsory to be considered for UP B.Ed JEE seat allotment.
  • Candidates must pay the specified counselling fee within the deadline stated by the counselling committee.
  • To be considered for seat allotment, applicants must pay the advance college fee along with the registration fee. The advance college fee will be refunded to them if they are not allocated a seat during the seat allotment process.
  • At the time of counselling registration, candidates need to pay Rs. 5750, where Rs. 5000 will be an advance payment of college fees and Rs 750 is the non-refundable registration fee. In case a candidate is not allotted seats, he/ she will be refunded Rs. 5000 through the same payment gateway. 
  • If the candidates do not accept the allocated seat, then the advance college fees will not be returned to them.
  • If the applicant accepts the assigned seat, the advance college fee paid will be adjusted with the total admission fees. Please note the counselling fee is not refundable.
  • The seat allocation result will be available on the candidate portal and can be accessed via the login credentials.
  • Certificates or documents to be submitted during verification after seat allotment include UP B.Ed JEE Score Card, UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Application Form, UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Admit Card, Class 10th Marks-sheet, Class 12th Marks-sheet, Caste Certificate, Current passport size photographs, Sponsored NRI Certificate, Specially-Abled Certificate, NRI Certificate, Domicile Certificate.
  • Aspirants must review the information on the seat allotment letter. They should save one or two copies of the UP B.Ed JEE seat allotment letter for any future reference.

UP B.Ed JEE Seat Allotment via Pool Counselling Important Details

Some of the major specifications related to UP B.Ed JEE Seat Allotment via Pool Counselling to be followed by the candidates - 

  • Applicants who were not accepted in Round 1 counselling or couldn’t participate in the same, or were not allocated an institute in Round 1 or failed to get admission against the allotment are qualified to apply for pool counselling.
  • The pool counselling process is similar to the first round of counselling. Applicants have to register, pay the counselling and overall college fees, and then exercise web options. On that basis, the seat allotment for pool counselling will be done.
  • If the candidates upload their web options but forget to lock them before the final date for web selections, those choices will be automatically locked for consideration for seat allocation.
  • Seat allotment for the pool counselling phase will be completed on the basis of the state rank secured by the individuals and the priority order of the colleges they picked during choice filling.
  • The reservation policy of the State will be implemented for pool counselling seat allotment. For seat allotment in Aided or Self-Financing or Government institutions, EWS reservation policy will be applicable
  • Pool counselling seat allotment results of UP B.Ed JEE can be checked in the candidate login. They must procure the provisional allotment and confirmation letter from there and keep a copy of it with them for further reference.
  • After seat allotment via pool counselling, the nominated aspirants have to report to the assigned B.Ed institutions in Uttar Pradesh as per the schedule.
