UPSC IFS 2019 Exam Result

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declares the result of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) exam. The result of UPSC IFS is usually declared on the official website of UPSC in a PDF format. Candidates can view their scores online by entering their Name or Roll number. On the basis of the result in the Preliminary exam, candidates are selected to appear in IFS Mains, and candidates clearing IFS Mains are called for Personal Interview. Test takers must keep a regular check on the official website of UPSC for updates regarding the result.

Candidates must know that the result published by UPSC describes the marks scored by the candidate in the examination. Sectional Marks along with the total marks will be available on the scorecard of UPSC IFS 2019. Details on UPSC IFS Result 2019

The UPSC IFS result is declared in three stages:

  • Prelims

  • Mains

  • Final result

UPSC IFS Prelims Result:

The first stage of UPSC IFS selection process is the Preliminary exam. On the basis of the result of the Preliminary exam, candidates are considered to be eligible to appear in the second stage i.e. the Mains exam. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination judges applicants on the basis of their knowledge about current affairs, India as a Political and Economic entity and their interpretative and analytical thought process. The Prelims 2018 Result has been announced and the Mains Exam is about to be conducted. 

UPSC IFS Mains Result:

All the qualified candidates in the Preliminary exam are selected for the Mains exam. Based on the result of UPSC IFS Mains, candidates are short-listed for the further selection process. It is important for candidates to understand that the Result of the Mains Exam is not the final result and does not declares the final selection of the candidates. The final selection will be based on the marks of the Mains exam combined with the marks of the Personal Interview.

UPSC IFS Final Result:

Candidates who qualify the Mains exam of IFS are called for Personal Interview/Personality Test round. The final result is prepared for the candidates who qualify the Interview. The final result will be subject to the combined marks of Written Test and Personal Interview as scored by the candidates.
