The exam consists of three stages namely Prelims, Mains and Interview.

The prelims stage comprises two papers: Paper I and Paper II.

Paper II contains 80 questions that need to be solved in 2 hours.
Both papers will take place on 2nd June 2019.
Paper I carries a weightage of 200 marks. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 2 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.66 marks will be deducted from the total marks.
Paper I is counted for preparing merit list.
Paper II also carries a weightage of 200 marks. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 2.5 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.83 marks will be deducted from the total score.
Candidates only need to score 33% of the total score i.e., 66 marks to qualify Paper II.
