Detailed APRJC CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are requested to go through the complete APRJC CET 2026 eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the APRJC CET 2026 exam on April 24, 2026. The following pointers outline the detailed APRJC eligibility criteria 2026 as per the official prospectus released by APREIS, Amaravati:

  • Candidates must be a resident of India.
  • Candidates must have studied and passed the qualifying examination from a school in Andhra Pradesh only and the students from other states are not eligible.
  • Only candidates who have studied and passed the SSC or equivalent qualifying examination during the academic year 2025-26 are eligible to apply for APRJC CET 2026. Note that the students who passed in previous academic years are not eligible.
  • Candidates who have passed the SSC or equivalent qualifying examination in compartmental/failed attempts are not eligible to apply for APRJC CET 2026 under any circumstances.
  • Candidates who studied Urdu as one of the languages in their SSC or equivalent qualifying examination are eligible to enrol in Minority Junior Colleges in Urdu Medium.
  • A minimum of 60% marks (6.0 GPA) in SSC is required to meet the APRJC qualify marks criteria, with relaxation available for reserved categories including BC-A, BC-B, SC, ST, and other notified categories as per Government Orders.

After meeting the APRJC CET 2026 eligibility criteria, candidates can apply only through the official website aprs.apcfss.in. The APRJC 2026 application process is divided into two phases namely the first phase requires the candidate to pay the application fee of ₹300 online, following which a Candidate ID will be issued. The second phase allows the candidate to fill out and submit the complete APRJC CET 2026 online application form using the Candidate ID and Date of Birth. Candidates must take a printout of the submitted application and preserve it for future reference. The last date to submit the APRJC CET 2026 application is April 7, 2026.

Note: As per the APRJC notification 2026, all Minority candidates seeking admission to APR Minority Junior Colleges are also required to appear for the APRJC CET 2026 exam. Please note that they are not exempt from the entrance test. Note: The reservations for allotting seats will be based on Government Orders issued from time to time. The following special category guidelines apply as per the official APRJC CET 2026 prospectus:

  • PHC Category: Candidates must submit the SADAREM Certificate of a minimum 40% disability issued by the District Medical Board. Seats will be allotted based on merit in APRJC CET 2026 among PHC category candidates.
  • Sports Category: Candidates must submit District and above level participation certificates issued by the competent authority. Seats will be allotted based on merit in APRJC CET 2026 among Sports category candidates.
  • CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) Category: Candidates must submit a certificate confirming that their parent is an ex-serviceperson or is presently in defence service, issued by the District Sainik Board. Seats will be allotted based on merit in APRJC CET 2026 among CAP category candidates.
  • NCC candidates are not eligible under the CAP category.
  • Orphan Category: Candidates must submit a certificate issued by the concerned MRO (Mandal Revenue Officer) confirming that the candidate has no parents. Seats will be allotted based on merit in APRJC CET 2026 among Orphan category candidates.
  • If no eligible candidates are available under any special category, the seats may be allotted to the OC category.
  • Candidates applying under special categories (PHC/CAP/Orphan/Sports) must upload the relevant certificate during the online application process at aprs.apcfss.in. Submission of a wrong or false certificate will lead to summary rejection of the candidature.
