APSET is conducted by the Andhra university every year for determining the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professors or Lecturers positions. There are two papers for the APSET 2021 exam and the aspirants have to appear in both papers after filling up the APSET 2021 application form. APSET 2021 Exam Pattern Highlights

Given below are the APSET 2021 exam pattern highlights which will impart a deep understanding of the exam pattern to the candidates appearing for the APSET 2021 -

  • APSET 2021 will comprise of Paper I and Paper II and the candidates have to appear in both of the papers to be eligible for the subsequent selection process

  • APSET 2021 paper I will be common for all the aspirants whereas Paper II will be based on the subjects opted by the candidates

  • Paper I will be conducted bilingually (Telugu and English) 

  • Paper-II will be conducted for subjects like Economics, Commerce, History, Education, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work and Sociology which will be conducted bilingually except for the language subjects

  • Questions will be asked in Objective format, i.e MCQ

  • There will be negative marking for any incorrect attempt in the APSET 2021 exam

APSET 2021 Exam Marking Scheme

  • APSET 2021 Paper I will comprise 50 questions in the MCQ format and each question will carry 2 marks 

  • APSET 2021 Paper-II will comprise 100 questions in the MCQ format and each question will carry 2 marks

  • The candidates will be given four options to choose from to answer a question asked to them

  • The candidates will be given 1 hour and 2 hours respectively to complete both Papers I and Paper II of the APSET 2021 exam

  • APSET 2021 paper will have a negative marking

I am a Government employee and I want to appear in AP SET this year. Do I need to submit a NOC signed by the DEO?

Dear candidate, it is not mandatory for you to submit a NOC signed by the District Educational Officer (DEO). If you fulfil all the required AP SET eligibility criteria, then you can appear in the eligibility test which is expected to be conducted on the 06th of December 2020. How many options are available for each question asked in the APSET paper?

For each question, the candidates are given four similar options. The candidates are required to mark the one which is the correct or near correct option among the four options provided under each question.
