The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test or APSET 2024 exam pattern is very important for the candidates to know so that they do not have to keep guessing about where the questions will be asked. APSET 2024 Exam Pattern Highlights

Given below are the APSET 2024 exam pattern highlights which will impart a deep understanding of the exam pattern to the candidates appearing for the APSET 2024 -

  • APSET 2024 will comprise Paper I and Paper II and the candidates have to appear in both of the papers to be eligible for the subsequent selection process

  • APSET 2024 paper I will be common for all the aspirants whereas Paper II will be based on the subjects opted by the candidates

  • Paper I will be conducted bilingually (Telugu and English) 

  • Paper II will be conducted for subjects like Economics, Commerce, History, Education, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Work, and Sociology which will be conducted bilingually except for the language subjects

  • Questions will be asked in Objective format, i.e MCQ

  • There will be negative marking for any incorrect attempt in the APSET 2024 exam

APSET 2024 Exam Marking Scheme

Other than acquiring in-depth information regarding the APSET 2024 exam pattern, the candidates must also know a thing or two about the APSET 2024 marking scheme. The marking scheme has been mentioned below:

  • Each question in Paper-I (General Paper) will be of 2 marks. So, there are 50 questions and the maximum marks are 100.
  • Each question in Paper-II (Subject Paper) will be of 2 marks and there are 100 questions and the maximum number of marks that can be scored are 200 marks.
  • The candidates will be given four options to choose from to answer a question asked to them

  • The candidates will be given 1 hour and 2 hours respectively to complete both Papers I and Paper II of the APSET 2024 exam

  • APSET 2024 paper will have a negative marking

No, the candidates are not penalised for any wrong attempts in the APSET paper.

How many marks will be awarded for correct responses in the APSET paper?

For each correct response in the APSET paper, the candidates are awarded +2 marks.

How many options are available for each question asked in the APSET paper?

For each question, the candidates are given four similar options. The candidates are required to mark the one which is the correct or near correct option among the four options provided under each question.

Dear candidate, it is not mandatory for you to submit a NOC signed by the District Educational Officer (DEO). If you fulfil all the required AP SET eligibility criteria, then you can appear in the eligibility test which is expected to be conducted on the 06th of December 2020.
