There is no upper age limit for applying to AP SET 2025. Candidates must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for BC/SC/ST/PwD candidates), and final-year postgraduate students can also apply on a provisional basis. Candidates who want to perform well in the AP SET 2025 exam should first understand the AP SET eligibility criteria 2025. Every exam has specific requirements set by the conducting authority, and Andhra University, on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, is responsible for defining the eligibility rules for AP SET.
The AP SET eligibility criteria include the required educational qualification, minimum qualifying marks, and age-related guidelines. Applicants are strongly advised to check the complete eligibility details before applying for the exam. Once candidates meet all the prescribed requirements, they can proceed to fill out the AP SET 2025 application form.
Given below are the general eligibility criteria of AP SET 2025 which must be fulfilled by the candidates to successfully apply to appear in the AP SET 2025 exam -
The applicants who wish to apply for the APSET Exam 2025 should check the eligibility criteria. The candidates of any age can apply for the exam. There is no age limit to it. They should only hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in it. For BC/SC/ST/PWD candidates, there is a rebate of 5%. The candidates require a minimum of 50% marks. If the candidates are pursuing a master’s degree and are studying in the final-year, they can complete the master’s degree and achieve the minimum marks. If they achieve the required result within two years of the result date, they will be eligible for the process ahead.
Candidates who have already appeared or will be appearing in the final examination of their Master's degree or any other equivalent qualifying exam can also appear in AP SET 2025. The selection or qualifying status of such candidates will be confirmed once they pass all the subjects in the final year Masters degree course.
The candidates who have a Ph.D. degree and have completed their Master’s degree by 19th September 1992 are also eligible to appear in the AP SET examination 2025. They will also be offered a relaxation of 5% on the minimum marks required.
