GSAT 2021 Counselling Process

The counselling of GITAM Science Admission Test (GSAT 2021) for admission into Information Technology and Science courses are organised by the GITAM University in the month of May. 

Shortlisted candidates of GITAM Science Admission Test are not intimated regarding counselling through separate letters. They are supposed to check the list and the date, which is available on the official website. The GSAT merit list will be prepared separately for each course.

GSAT 2021 Counselling Important Dates

Detailed Procedure for GSAT 2021 Counselling

• All the qualified candidates have to attend the counselling in person.

• In case, the candidate is ill, his/her representative is allowed to come for the counselling with the authorisation letter signed by the candidate.

• In the case of medical issues, the documents issued by competent government authorities are only accepted.

• One parent/guardian is allowed to appear for counselling with the candidate.

• Candidates have to pay a counselling fee at the reception of the counselling centre and this fee is non-refundable.

• Test takers should keep the counselling fee receipt safely for further admissions rounds.

• They should report to the counselling centre on the specified date and time.

• If a candidate misses the counselling because of any reason, he/she can only attend the next round of counselling.

• The admission fee should be paid within 24 hours of seat allotment and candidate should report to the allotted institute to ensure his/her admission process is complete.

Documents Required during GSAT 2021 Counselling

• Transfer certificate from the previous institution

• Character certificate

• Class X or equivalent pass certificate

• GSAT Counselling Call Letter

• Caste certificate in case of SC/ST

• Marks sheet of class 10 and class 12

• Provisional certificate and all marks statements of the qualifying examination

• Medical certificate issued by competent government authorities

• For Bengaluru Campus – a residence certificate from the competent authority (at least for a period of 5 years) for claiming local category.
