IBPS RRB Clerk Exam (Mains) Analysis 2019

The analysis of IBPS RRB main clerk exam 2019 is now available on CollegeDekho which was conducted on the 20th of October by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The IBPS RRB main clerk 2019 exam paper comprised of five sections - General Awareness, Reasoning, Hindi/English Language, Numerical Ability and Computer Knowledge. The following sections contain a detailed analysis of the same:

IBPS RRB Clerk (Mains) 2019 Analysis of Numerical Ability Section

  • This section comprised of 40 questions 

  • The maximum marks carried by this section was 50

  • The level of difficulty of this section was moderate

  • Four sets of Data Interpretation questions were the highlight of this section

  • Maximum number of questions were from Data Interpretation 

  • Experts believe that those candidates with an attempt rate between 14 and 20 will be safe

IBPS RRB Clerk (Mains) 2019 Analysis of Language Section

  • The difficulty level of this section, as per the examinees, was between moderate and easy

  • 10 questions were asked from the reading passage and one question was based filler-based

  • There were also 10 questions from the Cloze Test

  • Least number of questions, i.e 5, were asked from topics like sentence correction, word swapping, sentence rearrangement, sentence correction

  • The section cumulatively comprised of 40 questions

  • Candidates are expected to score good enough if they have an attempt rate between 21 and 28

IBPS RRB Clerk (Mains) 2019 Analysis of Reasoning Section

  • This section too comprised of 40 questions based on box-based puzzle, circular seating arrangement, parallel row puzzle floor based puzzle etc

  • Maximum number of questions, as expected, was asked from sitting arrangements and puzzles while the least number of alphabet and number-based questions were asked in the paper

  • This section too was moderately difficult if the candidates are to be believed

  • Candidates who have attempted 27 to 35 questions are expected to breach the cutoff mark with ease

IBPS RRB Clerk (Mains) 2019 Analysis of General Awareness Section

  • This section was also moderately difficult, opined the test-takers

  • Questions based on Union Budget, Static Awareness and Economic Survey were predominantly found in this section

  • Candidates who have attempted 26 to 30 questions are expected to fare well in this section

IBPS RRB Clerk (Mains) 2019 Analysis of Computer Knowledge Section

  • Questions based on topics such as shortcut key, MS Office, Operating System, Binary Decimal, Common Pointing Device, MAC Address etc. were asked in this section

  • Basic level questions was the key feature of this section 

  • Anyone with an attempt ratio between 27 to 32 questions will find themselves in a safe position

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has conducted the RRB (Regional Rural Banks) Officer Scale I examination on August 04, 2019. IBPS RRB PO Officers Scale I Question Paper Analysis - An Introduction

The IBPS RRB Officers Scale - I exam 2019 was conducted in four slots, and the examination comprised of two sections. The examination had reasoning and quantitative ability section, and the total number of questions was 80. The duration of the exam was 45 minutes.

As per the response received from test-takers, the overall difficulty level of the question paper was easy to moderate. The Reasoning Ability section of the IBPS RRB Officers Scale I exam 2019 was easy, while the Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate in terms of difficulty level.
