About IBPS RRB 2018

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection – Regional Rural Bank (IBPS RRB) is a national-level entrance exam. Conducted in online mode, aspirants who wish to join any of the Regional Rural Banks as Group A Officers (Scale- I, II, III) and Group “B”- Office Assistants (Multipurpose) first have to get themselves registered for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP for RRBs).

  • For the post of IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the exam is conducted within two Tiers – Prelims and Mains. Applicants first have to apply for Prelims, and if they qualify the exam, then, they can appear in Mains.

  • For the post of IBPS RRB Officer Scale – I, the exam includes Prelims, Mains and Interview.

  • For the post of IBPS RRB Officer Scale – II & III, there is a single exam for the selection of deserving candidates. On the basis of combined performance in Written Exam and Interview Process, candidates are selected as IBPS RRB Officer Scale – II or III.

  • Applicant having good Computer Knowledge is desired.

  • Graduation in any discipline is a must. The degree should be from a University, which is recognised.

  • Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidate should have worked for two years in a Bank or Financial Institution as an officer.

Officer Scale – III (Senior Manager)

Above 21 yrs – Below 40 yrs

  • Graduation is compulsory. The degree could be in any stream from a recognised University or its equivalent.

  • Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidate should have minimum 5 years experience of working in a Bank or Financial Institution as an Officer.

IBPS RRB 2018 Result

The result of IBPS RRB Main Exam (Officer Scale I, II & III) has been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The result for the Prelims was released on 14th September 2018. To view the results, candidates have to visit the official website of IBPS, i.e.www.ibps.in and enter their Registration Number and Password. Candidates who have cleared the Mains exam will now be called for the final interview process conducted by participating banks. IBPS RRB 2018 Selection Process

The selection process of IBPS RRB 2018 is conducted for the candidates who clear the Main examination with the qualifying marks and the Interview round. The seat allotment of the candidates is done on the basis of ranks in the merit list and post preferences.

  • Proof of Date of Birth (class 10th certificate/ Birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation)

  • Experience certificates (if applicable)

  • Disability certificate issued by authorised medical board.

  • Caste certificates issued by competent authority in the prescribed format.

  • An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book along with pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of interview.

  • No objection certificate if a candidate is working in Government Offices or Public Sector Undertakings.

  • For age relaxation, candidate must produce required documents.

  • Domicile certificate must be produced by the candidates applying in this category and certificate issued by magistrate confirming the 1984 riot affected person's relief.

IBPS RRB 2018 Admit Card

The IBPS RRB 2018 admit card/call letter for Prelims exam and Mains exam has already been released. Steps to Download IBPS RRB 2018 Admit Card

  • Go to the official website of IBPS.

  • On the ‘Home’ page click on the link given for CRP RRBs- VIII 2018 Admit Card.

  • A new page will open. Fill in the credentials asked and click on ‘Submit’ button.

  • Download the Admit Card displayed on the screen and take a print out of it.

  • IBPS RRB 2018 admit card is a compulsory document to be brought at the examination center.

How to Apply for IBPS RRB 2018

IBPS RRB 2018 application forms were available in online mode on the official website of Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS). The application forms were available for the candidates to fill in all the details and submit it on or before 2nd July 2018. Candidates had to fill and submit the application form through online mode as there was no other mode of registration for the IBPS RRB 2018 entrance exam. For filling the application forms, candidates had to keep all their related documents ready in a scanned format in order to attach them with the application form.

  • Applicants can apply for – Officer (Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III) as well as Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts. For each post, applicants have to apply separately and pay fees/intimation charges. Below are the requirements for filling IBPS RRB application form 2018:

  • In order to register, applicants have to click on the tab that says 'CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION' and mention the basic details asked in the application form.

  • After entering the details, the system generates a provisional Registration number and Password, which appear on the computer screen.

  • Applicants also receive an E-mail and SMS, which displays the Provisional Registration Number and Password.

  • Now, by using this Provisional Registration number and Password, applicants can reopen the saved data and edit the particulars, (if required).

  • Applicants also have to upload their Photograph as well as Signature as per the given specifications.

  • Applicants must verify all their details filled in the online application carefully asno modifications can be done after clicking on the 'FINAL SUBMIT' button.

Note: Applicants also have an option of giving state preferences for provisional allotment on selection, when applying for the posts of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officers Scale I.

The authority controls the Recruitment Processes of 27 Public Sector Banks and 82 Regional Rural Banks in India. In addition, IBPS also provides its service to all Public Sector Banks, SBI, Associate Banks of SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC, Insurance companies, many Public Sector Undertakings of Non-financial sectors, Government Departments and Regional Rural Banks.
