IBPS RRB 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has set detailed eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE RRB 2025. The eligibility criteria include age limit, nationality requirements and must also have the basic educational qualifications to apply for the posts of Office Assistant (Clerk) and Officer Scale I, II, and III. The applicants, before applying for the exam, must ensure that they adhere to the IBPS RRB 2025 Eligibility Criteria.However, the applicants must also be aware of the fact that provisional allotment in an RRB will not be indicative that the candidate has secured employment in a Regional Rural Bank (RRB). The final recruitment decision will lie in the hands of the Regional Rural Banks themselves. The applicants must provide both the original and a photocopy of all the documents as proof of their identity and IBPS CWE RRB eligibility. The applicants have to provide all the requisite documents stating their eligibility either during the time of the interview or during the document verification procedure. The right to reject the candidature of an applicant remains solely with the RRB.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) revised the IBPS RRB PO and Clerk Prelims and Mains Exam dates. The short IBPS RRB notification for the posts of PO, Clerk, and SO will be tentatively released in August 2025. The detailed notification will be released in September 2025. The IBPS RRB PO Prelims will be held on November 22 and 23, 2025. The IBPS RRB Clerk prelims exam will be conducted on December 5, 7, 13, and 14, 2025. The IBPS RRB PO mains exam will be held on December 28, 2025. The IBPS RRB Clerk mains exam will be conducted on February 1, 2026. The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 & 3 Exam 2025 will be conducted on December 28, 2025.   • Manager (Officer Scale-II): The applicants must not be born before 03/06/88 and not after 31/05/99 (Above 21 and Below 32)

  • Assistant Manager (Officer Scale I): The applicants must not be born before 03/06/90 and not after 31/05/2002 (Above 18 and Below 30)

  • Office Assistant: The applicants must not be born before 02/06/92 and not after 01/06/2002 (Above 18 and Below 28)

IPBS RRB 2025 - Category-wise Eligibility Criteria

PwD Eligibility Criteria 

Only those applicants will be considered under the PwD category whose disability is mentioned in Section 34 of “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”. Thus applicants with

  • Deaf and Hard of Hearing

  • Blindness and Low Vision

  • Intellectual Disability, Autism, Mental Illness, Specific Learning Disability 

  • Locomotor Disability (inclusive of Cerebral Palsy), Dwarfism, Leprosy Cured, Muscular Dystrophy and Acid Attack Victims

  • Multiple disabilities (from the above-mentioned) including Deaf-Blindness

Ex-Servicemen Eligibility Criteria 

Only those applicants will be considered under the Ex-Servicemen category who 

  • Justify the definition of Ex-Servicemen laid down by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India 

  • Ex-Servicemen who were disabled during their service in the Armed Forces of the Union (Peace/War) and their disability being attributable to Military Service will be considered under the Disabled Ex-Servicemen category

  • Dependents of Servicemen killed in 

  1. Action attributable to Military Service

  2. Border skirmishes or warlike operations with neighbouring countries or any other country

  3. War

  4. Fighting against armed hostiles in counterinsurgency environment (Mizoram, Nagaland etc)

  6. Mines Explosion (during laying and clearing between the time-period of 1 month before and 3 months after an operation concluded) 

  7. Dealing with agitating Paramilitary Forces Personnel

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Eligibility Criteria 

Those applicants will be considered under the EWS category whose

  • family income is less than INR 8 lakhs per annum does not belong to any of the reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST)

  • family owns less than 5 acres of agricultural land

  • family does not possess a Residential Flat of more than 1000 sq.ft

  • family does not have a Residential Plot of more than 100 sq. Yards (in notified Municipalities)

  • family does not own a Residential Plot of more than 200 sq. yards (in notified Municipalities)
