IBPS RRB 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants before applying for IBPS RRB 2019 must ensure that they fulfil all the mentioned IBPS CWE RRB 2019 eligibility criteria. If the applicants want to be assured of an appointment in the posts mentioned in the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), they must make sure that all the bases regarding the eligibility criteria for IBPS CWE RRB 2019 are covered. However, the applicants must also be aware of the fact that provisional allotment in an RRB will not be indicative that the candidate has secured employment in a Regional Rural Bank (RRB). The final decision regarding recruitment will lay in the hands of the Regional Rural Banks itself. 

The applicants must produce both the original and photocopy of all the documents as proof of their identity and IBPS CWE RRB eligibility. The applicants have to produce all the requisite documents stating their eligibility either during the time of the interview or during the document verification procedure. The right to reject the candidature of an applicant remains solely with the RRB.

Age (General &EWS)

  • Senior Manager (Officer Scale III): The applicants must not be born before 03/06/79 and not after 31/05/98 (Above 21 and Below 40)

  • Manager (Officer Scale-II): The applicants must not be born before 03/06/87 and not after 31/05/98 (Above 21 and Below 32)

  • Assistant Manager (Officer Scale I): The applicants must not be born before 03/06/89 and not after 31/05/2001 (Above 18 and Below 30)

  • Office Assistant: The applicants must not be born before 02/06/91 and not after 01/06/2001 (Above 18 and Below 28)

  • Degree/Diploma holder in Finance, Banking, Marketing, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Marketing & Cooperation, Pisciculture, Management, Information Technology, Economics, Law and Accountancy will be given preference  

5 years or more in a Financial Institution or Bank as an Officer

Manager (Officer Scale-II) 

Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India 

1 year or more as a Chartered Accountant

Information Technology Officer: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Communication/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT)

  • Minimum aggregate of 50% (all years combined) 

  • Recognised University

  • PHP/ASP/Java/C++/ VC/VB/OCP etc Certificate Holders will be given preference

1 year or more in the relevant field

Law Officer: 

  • Law degree

  • Recognised Law University

  • Minimum 50% aggregate (all years combined)

  • 2 years or more in a Financial Institution/Bank 

  • Must have worked as a Law Officer or an Advocate

Marketing Officer:

  • MBA in Marketing

  • Recognised University

1 year or more in the relevant field

Treasury Manager:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or

  • MBA in Finance

  • Recognised Institution/University

1 year in the relevant field

Agricultural Officer:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture/Animal Husbandry/Dairy/ Veterinary Science/Forestry/ Pisciculture/ Agricultural Engineering

  • Minimum 50% aggregate (all years combined)

  • Recognised University

5 years or more in a Financial Institution or Bank as an Officer

General Banking Officer (Officer Scale-II)

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Any Discipline

  • Recognised University

PwD Eligibility Criteria 

Only those applicants will be considered under the PwD category whose disability is mentioned in Section 34 of “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”. Thus applicants with

  • Deaf and Hard of Hearing

  • Blindness and Low Vision

  • Intellectual Disability, Autism, Mental Illness, Specific Learning Disability 

  • Locomotor Disability (inclusive of Cerebral Palsy), Dwarfism, Leprosy Cured, Muscular Dystrophy and Acid Attack Victims

  • Multiple disabilities (from the above-mentioned) including Deaf-Blindness

Ex-Servicemen Eligibility Criteria 

Only those applicants will be considered under the Ex-Servicemen category who 

  • Justify the definition of Ex-Servicemen laid down by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India 

  • Ex-Servicemen who were disabled during their service in the Armed Forces of the Union (Peace/War) and their disability being attributable to Military Service will be considered under the Disabled Ex-Servicemen category

  • Dependents of Servicemen killed in 

  1. Action attributable to Military Service

  2. Border skirmishes or warlike operations with neighbouring countries or any other country

  3. War

  4. Fighting against armed hostiles in counterinsurgency environment (Mizoram, Nagaland etc)

  5. Frost-Bite during actual operations (Specified by Government) 

  6. Mines Explosion (during laying and clearing between the time-period of 1 month before and 3 months after an operation concluded) 

  7. Dealing with agitating Paramilitary Forces Personnel 

  8. Peace Keeping Force personnel during an operation in Sri Lanka

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Eligibility Criteria 

Those applicants will be considered under the EWS category whose

  • Family income is less than INR 8 lakhs per annum does not belong to any of the reserved category (OBC/SC/ST)

  • Family owns less than 5 acres of agricultural land

  • Family does not possess a Residential Flat of more than 1000 sq.ft

  • Family does not have a Residential Plot of more than 100 sq. Yards (in notified Municipalities)

  • Family does not own a Residential Plot of more than 200 sq. yards (in notified Municipalities)
