IBPS RRB 2018 Eligibility Criteria

One of the most important things that candidates should do before applying for the IBPS RRB 2018 is to check the IBPS RRB 2018 eligibility criteria. The conditions to become eligible to take the exam may include age limit, nationality, educational qualifications, reservation policy, etc.

For a national level exam like IBPS RRB, candidates must know the eligibility criteria in order to avoid any kind of rejection and delay in the registration and selection process. Nationality

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen/citizen of Nepal/citizen of Bhutan/ Tibetan refugee.

  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Between 18 yrs and 28 yrs

  • It is mandatory for the applicant to have a three-year Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
  • Applicants having good Computer skills is desired.

Officer Scale-I

Above 18 yrs – Below 30 yrs

  • Applicant should have done his/her graduation from a recognised University or its equivalent in any subject.

  • Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy degrees will be preferred.

  • Applicant having good Computer Knowledge is desired.

Officer Scale-II

General Banking Officer (Manager)

Above 21 yrs – Below 32 yrs

  • Graduation in any discipline is a must. The degree should be from a University, which is recognised.

  • Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidate should have worked for two years in a Bank or Financial Institution as an officer.

Officer Scale – III (Senior Manager)

Above 21 yrs – Below 40 yrs

  • Graduation is compulsory. The degree could be in any stream from a recognised University or its equivalent.

  • Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidate should have minimum 5 years experience of working in a Bank or Financial Institution as an Officer.
