IBPS SO Selection Process 2024 - Prelims

The preliminary selection of the exam will be done through the online written examination. The prelims stage is the first step in the IBPS SO selection process 2024, the candidates who will be able to perform extraordinarily in the first stage will advance to the next step of the selection process smoothly. The exam pattern of the preliminary phase IBPS SO 2024 Exam will vary for different profiles. Below we have listed the detailed exam pattern for various profiles.

The IBPS SO phase 2 selection process will be done on the basis of an online written examination. The IBPS SO mains exam pattern for various job profiles are as follows:

IBPS SO 2024 Selection Process for Interview Round

Shortlisted candidates in the Main examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Institute and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. The interview will be held at the selection centres. The venue of the centre, as well as scheduled for an interview, will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from the official website of IBPS.

• The minimum qualifying marks in interview for general category candidates is 40% and for reserved category candidates is 35%.

• The weightage of Online CWE (Main Exam) and interview will be 80:20 ratio respectively.

• The combined final score of candidates will be based on the total score received by candidates in the online main examination of IBPS SO and Interview.

• Interview score of the candidates who have failed to secure the minimum qualifying marks or otherwise will not have to go through any further selection process.

Documents Required for IBPS SO Interview

Given below are the documents that will be required for the 3rd phase of IBPS SO Exam; Inteview Round. Refer to the list below-

• Printout of the Interview Call Letter
• System-generated printout of the online application
• Date of Birth proof
• Identification Proof
• Marksheets and certificates (Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 27.11.2023 has to be submitted)
• Caste Certificate Documents(If you are belonging to SC/ST/OBC category candidates authorized by the government of India.)
• Disability certificate (authorized by District Medical Board)
• Experience certificates, if any
• Persons eligible for age relaxation must produce a certificate from the District Magistrate to the effect that they are eligible for relief in terms of the Rehabilitation Package for 1984 Riot Affected
• Persons sanctioned by the Government.
• Any other relevant documents.

IBPS SO Provisional Allotment

The marks for provisional allotment in IBPS SO 2024 can be defined as the lowest marks that the test-takers will have to obtain to be provisionally allotted in any one of the participating banks of IBPS SO. The IBPS SO Cut off for provisional allotment will be calculated out of 100 and after eliminating inter-SE-merit (ties) on the basis of date of birth.
