ITM NEST-2019 Counselling Process

The counselling process starts with the announcement of result for ITM University National Entrance & Scholarship Test for all its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The counselling will go on until mid-September and once the seats for the particular course are filled, counselling will be over for that particular programme.

• Admission is done through ITM NEST and JEE Main /PRE MCA /PAT /NATA /GATE /CMAT /MAT /XAT /ATMA /CAT Entrance tests as may be applicable.

• On the basis of the merit, candidates will be offered scholarship assistance.

• Other than merit scholarships, the university also provides sports, cultural, military, para-military and government-funded scholarships based on a student’s academic and extracurricular record.

• Candidates will have to apply for counseling at ITM University, Gwalior in order to get a seat at the university.

• Once the counseling process starts, candidates will be asked to fill up their choices of programmes in the online mode according to their preferences.

• Based on the merit list and academic record, candidates will be allotted seats in the programmes of their given preference.

• Seats will only be confirmed after the candidate pays the admission fee and when his/her documents are verified.

Candidate should carry the documents listed below during the counselling process:

• All Academic Records in original from Class 10 to Graduation like Certificate / Degree / Mark Sheet (as applicable according to the course and eligibility).

• Photo ID Proof showing Candidate’s Photo, Address, Date of Birth and Father’s or Mother’s Name or both.

• Sports and Cultural Scholarship Form

• Military and Paramilitary Scholarship Form

• ITM NEST Scholarship Form

• Government Scholarship Form

• Economic Background Based Scholarship Form

• 5 recent Photographs colour and passport size

• 2 photocopies set of all documents mentioned above, photocopies should be self-attested.

• The first installment of Fee amount of first semester. The Fee can be paid either in Cash or by DD. DD should be generated in favour of “ITM UNIVERSITY GWALIOR” Payable at “Gwalior”.

• Migration Certificate (issued by university /board, applicant studied last).

• Category Certificate (must be issued by the competent authority with signature and seal of the concerned department).

• Cheques will not be accepted.

1. Where should I report on my first day?

Counselling cell/Office/Department.

2. What is the mode of payment to deposit the fee?

The amount may be submitted in cash/by DD and may be deposited directly to the University or online facility available in our website.

3. Can I authorise someone else to attend the counselling?

Due to unforeseen and unavoidable reasons, if a candidate is unable to attend the counseling on the specified date and time, he/she can authorise his/her parent on his/her behalf.

4. Do my parents need to accompany me when I come for counselling?

No, it is not mandatory for your parents to come with you.

5. How many Schools/Colleges are there at ITM University?

All the teaching and research programmes of ITM are conducted at its 1O schools dealing in different disciplines. These include the Schools of Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences, Management, Education, Nursing, Physical Science, Library & Info Sciences, Commerce, Medical and Paramedical Sciences, Computer Applications.
