JENPAS UG 2025 Negative Marking and Scoring Rules

The JENPAS UG 2025 marking scheme is determined by the exam conducting authority as the basis for calculating the results of the students. Below-given is the marking pattern in accordance to the JENPAS UG exam pattern 2025:

For Category-1

The marking scheme for the Category-1 questions is as follows:

  • For every correct response, 1 mark will be allotted.
  • The -0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect/multiple response to a single question.

For Category-2

Students can go through the below-stated marking pattern of the questions of Category 2:

  • For each of the right answers, 2 marks will be awarded.
  • There will be no negative marking for the wrong/multiple answers to a single question.
  • For partially correct answers in the JENPAS UG exam, marks will be awarded using the following formula: 2 x (Number of Correct Options Marked) / (Total Number of Actually Correct Options).

JENPAS UG 2025 OMR Sheet Instructions

A quick glance at the important instructions for filling the JENPAS UG OMR sheet as specified in the JENPAS UG 2025 Exam pattern has been provided below for your reference:

  1. Use a ballpoint pen provided in the examination hall to mark your answers correctly in the OMR sheet.
  2. Carefully fill in the entire circle of the chosen option to mark your answer properly.
  3. Ensure not to spill ink outside the border of the circle. This may cause difficulty in analysing your answers correctly by the exam authorities.
  4. In case of an incorrectly filled OMR response sheet, you will be eligible for marks deductions by the authorities.
