The MAH M.Ed CET 2024 eligibility criteria vary for students belonging to Maharashtra state, other states and NRI candidates. Some important pointers for the eligibility criteria for the MAH M.Ed CET 2024 exam include - 

  • Candidates who are the permanent domicile of the Maharashtra state shall be eligible to enjoy the special status in the exam.
  • There is no upper age limit for the candidates who wish to apply for the exam as per the MAH M.Ed CET eligibility criteria.
  • The candidate who has completed the B.Ed course with at least 50% marks shall be allowed to appear in the MAH M.Ed CET counselling round.

MAH M.Ed CET 2024 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

As per the MAH M.Ed CET eligibility criteria, the candidates willing to appear for the examination must have completed any of the courses, the names of which are mentioned in the points below:

  • B.A.- B.Ed B.Sc.-B.Ed (Four Year Integrated Course) 
  • B.Ed
  • B.El.Ed
  • D.El.Ed. with an Undergraduate Degree (with 50% marks in Each Course) from NCTE Approved College of Education affiliated with a recognized Non-Agricultural University in India.

Candidates who belong to the state of Maharashtra should have qualified for the exam by scoring 50% marks. Those who belong to the reserved category must have scored at least 45% marks in aggregate. Also, the candidates who are not domicile of the state need to score at least 50% marks in the exam irrespective of their category.

Provision for Appeared / Appearing Candidates

  • Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the qualifying exam of their undergraduate or postgraduate degree are eligible to apply for MAH M.Ed CET 2024.
  • Such candidates will be asked for the proof of qualifying their exam during the admission process.
