Registrations for the MAH MHMCT CET 2026 counselling process will begin in June 2026 through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), which was conducted by the Maharashtra CET Cell, and you will be required to submit all the required documents after scanning them within the deadline. Document verification and confirmation of the application form for admission will be conducted in July 2026. The conducting body will issue the first MAH MHMCT merit list 2026 in July 2026, and the provisional list will also be released in August 2026.
MAH MHMCT counselling process 2026 will include online registration, comprising application form filling up, document verification, and seat allotment, followed by the candidate’s reporting at the allocated institutes. Seats will be offered depending on the MAH HM CET result in all the government and government-aided institutes that participate in CAP. Students will also have to be present at the counselling centre for the further process. The number of vacant seats will determine the number of rounds in the MAH MHMCT 2026 counselling process. It must be noted that both the counselling process and seat allotment round will be conducted under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Step 1: Registration
The eligible candidates have to first register for the MAH MHMCT counselling process 2026
During registration, the candidates will be asked to provide their personal details such as name, contact details, address
After furnishing all the required details, the candidates have to click on the “Register” button to proceed to the next step
Step 2: Authentication
After registration, the candidates will receive an OTP number on their registered mobile number
The candidates have to enter the received OTP number in the vacant textbox and click on the button that says - Submit
Following clicking on the “Submit” button, the candidates will be taken to the next step
Step 3: Log In
After entering the OTP number received by the candidates, they will be taken to a new page where they will be asked to enter their application ID and password
After providing all the necessary details, the candidates have to click on “Login” to be taken away to the next step
Step 4: Registration Process for Candidates
In this process, the candidates will find a counselling flow chart mentioning each step

Step 5: Candidature-Type Filling
In this step, the candidates will be asked to fill in their candidature-type
After clicking on the suitable radio box, they will be asked to confirm their entry
After confirmation, the candidates will see a button “Save and Proceed” which they have to press to move towards the next step
Step 6: Candidate Category Details
During this step, the candidates have to furnish details regarding the category to which they belong
Options like OBC, SC, ST, Ward of Defense Personnel etc will be available to the candidates and they must select the one for which they have proper documents of
After clicking on the category, the candidates will also be given a list of documents which they can produce to prove their claims
After providing all the details, the candidates can finally click on the button - Save and Continue to proceed to the next step
Step 7: Enter Qualification Details
In this step, the candidates will be asked to provide their qualification details
Documents related to class Xth, XIIth and Graduation have o be submitted by the candidates

Step 8: Personal Details
This step will require the candidates to enter all their personal details such as name, date of birth, guardian name etc
The candidates also have to provide their permanent address details in this step
Finally, the candidates will be asked to furnish their contact details followed by clicking on the “Save and Proceed” button to move to the next step
Step 9: Document Upload
The candidates have to upload all the relevant documents to prove their claims made in the previous step
In addition to the documents, the candidates also have to upload their recent passport-sized coloured photographs, scanned signature which should not deviate from the specified format and size
Step 10: Counselling Fee Payment
The candidates have to submit the MAH MHMCT counselling fee in this step, i.e INR 800/-
The candidates have to pay the required counselling fee via any of the available payment methods - credit card, debit card, net banking etc
Step 11: Counselling Registration Form Printout
After paying the counselling fee, the candidates have to take a printout of the completed application form to be used in the subsequent stages
Step 12: Display of the provisional merit list for Maharashtra State/All India/Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidate on the website
Step 13: Submission of grievances if any, for all type of Candidates
