Applicants applying for MAH MHMCT 2026 must be Indian Nationals
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (or equivalent) from a recognised University with a cumulative aggregate of 50% to be eligible to apply for the MAH MHMCT entrance exam
Applicants from the state of Maharashtra (reserved category candidates and PwD category candidates) with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (or equivalent) from a recognised University are eligible to apply for the MAH MHMCT exam provided they secure a cumulative aggregate of 45% in the qualifying degree exam
The candidates must score a non-zero score in the MAH MHMCT entrance exam to be eligible for the next round of the admission process
OR
Full-time work experience (minimum 2 years) for sponsored candidates in a registered Government Autonomous Organisation/Government Department/Research Institute/Educational Institute/Registered Industry/Company/Firm
The applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with a minimum of 50% cumulative aggregate (Institute must be Central Government/State Government/All India Council for Technical Education (or equivalent) approved)
Candidates belonging to the PwD category can apply for MAH MHMCT 2026, provided they fulfil the MAH MHMCT eligibility criteria mentioned above. Such candidates also have to submit a certificate to prove the nature of their disability (permanent or not) to get admission into one of the seats reserved for candidates with a disability.
