MAH MHMCT Seat Allotment 2020

The MAH MHMCT seat allotment process for 2020 will be conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra. The MAH MHMCT 2020 seat allotment process is expected to be conducted in multiple rounds. The 2020 seat allotment process for MAH MHMCT will be conducted through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Candidates looking for the seat allotment result of MAH MHMCT 2020 have to visit the official website of Maharashtra State CET Cell and use their candidate login credentials to check the seat allotment status. 

An allotment letter will be issued against the name of those candidates who will be allocated seat in one of the MAH MHMCT participating colleges which have to be downloaded by the candidates to be used during the seat acceptance procedure. The allotment of seats will be carried out according to the merit, seat availability and choices filled by the candidates. 

After being allocated seats, the candidates will have three options to choose from - Freeze, Float and Slide. The candidates can use these options to accept the seats allocated to them, wait for the better options and let go off the allocated seats respectively. 

Those candidates who choose to accept the seats allocated to them will be required to visit the Institute/College to confirm their admission. The final admission will be subject to the candidates’ completion of the admission formalities and payment of admission fee. How to Check MAH MHMCT Seat Allotment 2020

The following steps will help the candidates check their MAH MHMCT 2020 seat allotment once it is released:

  1. Visit the official website of Maharashtra State CET Cell using the link - www.mahacet.org

  2. On the official site homepage, look for the link - MAH MHMCT Seat Allotment Result 2020 and click on the same

  3. Enter all the required MAH MHMCT candidate credentials to log in

  4. The MAH MHMCT seat allotment result for the year 2020 will appear on the screen of the device

  5. In case a seat is allocated, download the seat allotment letter from the official site

  6. Visit the Admission Registration Centre to exercise your preferred option

Post MAH MHMCT Seat Allotment 2020

Once the officials declare the MAH MHMCT 2020 seat allotment result, the candidates have to visit the official website to check if any seat has been allocated against their name. The candidates, after downloading the seat allotment letter, will have three options which they have to exercise at the ARC:

  • Freeze: If the candidate is satisfied with the seat allocated to him/her, this option is for them. Opting for this option will convey the candidate’s desire to pull out from the subsequent rounds of the seat allotment process or counselling process.

  • Float: Candidates going for this option will convey their desire to wait for the next round of seat allotment result for a better seat option. If the candidates get better options in the subsequent round/s, seats allocated to them in the previous round/s will stand as cancelled.

  • Slide: To exercise this option, the candidates have to first accept the seats allocated to them. This option should be exercised by those candidates who want to upgrade to a seat in a higher preferred programme. Once a seat in the higher preferred programme is allocated to the candidates, the previously allocated seats will be cancelled automatically.

Once the candidates exercise their options, they will be required to visit the college/institute where they were allocated seats to confirm the admission. Upon completing the admission formalities and payment of the admission fee, the admission process will conclude for the candidates.
