NCHM JEE Counselling 2020

The registration and choice filling for the third and final round of counselling have begun by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) in online mode. In order to register themselves, candidates will have to enter their Roll number, Application number, Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth and Security pin. 

The counselling process of NCHMCT JEE 2020 involves registration, choice filling, locking of choices and seat allotment. Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam will become eligible to participate in the NCHMCT JEE 2020 counselling. A total of 58 participating institutes will offer admissions based on the candidates’ performance in NCHMCT JEE 2020.

Qualified candidates of NCHMCT JEE will have to register on the official website of NCHMCT and pay the counselling fee to proceed. Candidates participating in the counselling rounds must note that the NCHMCT JEE 2020 counselling depends on the availability of seats. The seat allotment is done on the basis of All India Rank and choices locked by the candidates.

NCHMCT JEE Counselling Procedure 2020

To participate in the counselling procedure of NCHMCT JEE 2020, candidates can follow the steps given below:

Registration for NCHMCT JEE Counselling:

To participate in the counselling procedure, qualified candidates will have to register themselves on the official website. Registration is the first step to proceed in the counselling process of NCHMCT JEE. 

Choice Filling and Choice Locking for NCHMCT JEE Counselling:

The next step of the counselling process of NCHMCT JEE involves choice filling of colleges. This is necessary for the seat allotment of the candidates.

Seat Allotment Result for NCHMCT JEE Counselling:

Once choice filling and locking of the colleges is done, the authority will release the result of seat allotment. Candidates can view the seat allotment by logging into their account.

NCHMCT JEE Counselling Fee Payment:

For seat allotment purposes, candidates will have to pay the counselling fee in online mode. Candidates failing to make the payment in stipulated time will not be allotted seats.

Reporting to Allotted College:

Once the seat allotment process is done, candidates will have to report at their respective allotted college. At the time of reporting, the candidates will have to pay Rs.57,500/- (Rs.1000/- counselling fee + Rs.56500/- 1st-semester fee) via RTGS/e-challan payment with State Bank of India.

Note: Candidates’ verification of the documents will take place in the allotted college only.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Withdrawal and Refund Policy

  • The 100% fee refund is permitted to only those candidates, who were not allotted seat during first, second and spot rounds. At the same time, students who were allocated seats and withdrawn the same within the stipulated time are eligible for the refund of fees.

  • The full fees refunded except the counselling fee of Rs.1,000.

  • The part refunds of the total fee are allowed (except counselling fee of Rs.1,000), only those candidates, who were allocated seat in first, second and spot rounds, but can not withdraw and not reported at the allotted institution.

  • Also for, those, who have been allocated seat via first, second and spot rounds of counselling of NCHMCT JEE 2020, reported to the allotted institute, but did not attend the class as well as cancelled their seat online.

Documents Required For NCHMCT JEE 2020 Counselling

To participate in NCHMCT JEE 2020 counselling, qualified candidates will have to carry the following documents:

  • NCHMCT JEE 2020 Admit Card

  • Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet

  • Birth Certificate

  • NCHMCT JEE 2020 Scorecard

  • Class 10th and 12th Passing Certificate

  • Disability Certificate

  • Medical Certificate

  • Category Certificate

  • Photo ID Proof

NCHM JEE 2020 Reservation Policy

A certain percentage of seats will be reserved for the candidates belonging to the socially and economically backward categories in the NCHMCT JEE 2020 Participating Colleges. The number of seats reserved for students belonging to such categories will differ from Institute to Institute. Percentage of seats reserved for the students of such categories will also depend on the fact that the Institute is a Central Government run institute, State Government run institute or Private Institute. A solitary seat is also reserved for a registered Kashmiri Migrant.

OBC candidates who fall under the Central List of Other Backward Classes (issued by National Commission for Backward Classes, Government of India) will be eligible to apply for admission under the OBC category admission. The rest of the candidates have to apply under the General category admission.

Similarly, those candidates with less than 40% of a Specified Disability cannot apply for admission under the PwD category.
