The OUAT 2026 cutoff scores will be tentatively released by the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology on its official website @ouat.ac.in in the third week of August 2026. Students who clear the OUAT entrance exam 2026 will be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment process based on the OUAT cutoff marks released by the examination authorities.
The OUAT expected cutoff for the unreserved category is 50%, and 45% for students belonging to the SC/ST categories. The final cutoff marks will be declared after the OUAT 2026 results have been announced officially. Students who score below the required cutoff marks will not be invited to participate in the OUAT 2026 counselling process.

To calculate a student's OUAT cut-off weighted score, consider the following:
If a student scores 60% in H.S.C./equivalent, 70% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology) in SSC (12th) Science, and 120 out of 200 in the OUAT Entrance Test, the weighted score will be calculated as follows: 0.25 x 60 + 0.25 x 80 + 0.25 x 120 = 65.

To be admitted to UG courses, candidates must have a minimum score of 50%. Also, candidates need a 25% score on HSC and 25% on intermediate. Students who want to enrol in the B.Sc (Forestry) program have to pass the Physical Endurance Test.
If a candidate obtained 58% in H.S.C./equivalent, 67% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in +2 Science, and 123 in the Entrance Test, then the candidate would score 123. If that is the case, their weighted score is 0.25X 58+0.25X 67+ 0.25X 123 = 62.00.
Cutoffs for OUAT 2026 are determined by a combination of factors including the total number of candidates appearing, category of aspirants applying for particular courses, number of seats available, previous year's ICAR cut off for OUAT, and difficulty of the test.
